Try them for your self get the rechargeable battery pack you will save a ton . Long time coast customer. Warranty is for real if product is not abused or broken by you they will replace it if it wears out. Actually best company I have ever dealt with I'm 57 if that helps

A little heavy but very bright.
Used for scout camping trip worked very well.I did have to turn it off to talk to others as it was super bright in their face. Does get slightly heavy after a while.Would purchase again if I needed another head lamp.

Good Quality
This headlamp is bright (three useful settings for white, plus red light). The strap holds it on my head without slipping. It also comes with clips to attach it to a hardhat if you want to use it that way. The focusing feature works well. This headlamp is so much better than the cheap ones I bought at Costco. Lumens really make a difference.

Performance
Fumbling around in the middle of the night for a simple, hands-free light source that’s not going to wake up the wife? Puppy whining to go out? Noise downstairs? Gotta have another one of those chocolate chip cookies? This headlamp is for you. Are there others that have more features? Sure but annoying to have to click through several functions to shut the damn thing off (and more expensive)!
