Crayola Glitter Gel Pens, Pack of 6

So happy to add this set to my Crayola collection. Debating if I am going to open them for use or not still.

I found these searching for my favorite-Crayola iridescent gel pens, which must have been discontinued. These were a little bit more expensive, but they appear to be the same thing, just different colors. Really glittery, bold, 1.0 rollerball pen. These are almost a little bit more than a bold gel pen. Maybe even like 1.2. Takes a long time to dry, but excellent if that’s what you enjoy, in a very prominent type ink, gel pen.

These pens work very well, and have a very pretty glitter. The tip is small enough to use on the detailed coloring books for grownups (for relaxation). But the tips are too fine to color a large area.The ink is dark enough to be able to use as a writing pen, they have a small point, it may even be a fine tip.I really wish there were more colors because they are so nice!The ink seems to be long lasting--I close the cap tightly, every time I put the pen down. The caps are on very tight, and may be hard to open for someone with arthritis- but would probably open easier if you wrap something around them like a paper towel. Not hard at all for someone without arthritis. The tight fit keeps the ink from drying out.Great pens, I would buy again!

I love glitter gel pens and won't write with anything else unless I absolutely have to. But, most of the decent ones are expensive (purchased individually at Michael's) and they go dry or get used up too quickly (especially the packaged ones from Hobby Lobby or Walmart) . Wasn't able to find the Crayola Glitter Gel pens in stores for ages; BUT their price and easy availability on Amazon makes them a very attractive purchase. I give them as gifts with glitter purse notebooks, I journal daily, and the entries written 4+ years ago are bright and unfaded. I also make my own greeting cards and write personal notes using these glitter gels. So, I've ordered them 3 times from Amazon and will continue to do so as long as I can get them: bright colors, long lasting, VERY reasonable price, and prompt delivery.

I ordered 3 of these. 2 were perfectly packaged. The third had been pulled apart and the pens all over the place. Meant as a gift which won’t work now.

I don't know how many times I've purchased glitter pens that just don't work? Too many times. I just wish they had more colors.

I bought this pack to take to work. At first, they all worked great. The colors were so vibrant and the pen would glide across the paper. However, two of them have already stopped working, even though they clearly still have ink in them. (A cruel deception.) 😭 Do you know how frustrating it is to address an envelope, and then suddenly the pen goes out? I do. Wasted an envelope and I had to throw my turquiose green away. (RIP Greenie) 😔 No matter how much I fidgeted with it, it wouldn't work anymore. Super disappointed. Scared the rest are going to follow suit and just randomly go out. Crayola, you've been a trusted brand since my kindergarten days. But today- I feel let down. Justice for Greenie and Bluey!
