Spendy, but worth the money
I bought these to put in indirect LEDs in our guest room. Because they are so lightweight they were easy to paint and install. They only needed one coat of paint (medium gray in this case) and they were ready to put up. I used construction adhesive with a caulk gun and a level- no nails or other equipment required. They crumbled just slightly when I mitered the corners, but they don't look bad.

Highly Recommend!
This is such a great product and company to work with! The crown molding is super easy to work with. Just glue to the wall with caulking. I came up about 6 inches short on my project and they sent me a couple of pieces free of charge to finish things up. Great seller, great product. Well worth the price. Will upload pictures once the LED’s are installed.

Looks great
Only reason for 4 stars is the price! Other than that this product is great. Held up with silicone only

If you’re on the fence about LED molding like I was, this is definitely the best solution out there
The media could not be loaded. Okay, if you’re looking for a clean LED light solution this molding is definitely the way to go. My home office is about 12’x9’ so the 48 foot option was perfect. It arrived fast and fairly safe, the pieces are 8’ long (so the box was also that long) and there were two or three small dents in some of them but after painting they looked practically fixed. I imagine this won’t be avoidable given their fragility and awkward box size so don’t expect them to be perfectly pristine on arrival.DEFINITELY paint these, they look a million times better and mounted toward the ceiling you’ll never not know they’re styrofoam. A single coat of an acrylic semigloss paint will achieve the wood look beautifully and won’t damage the foam in any way at all. They’re a bit more resilient once painted as well, which being 8’ pieces of foam they will break fairly easily if you’re not careful. I’m a complete scrub when it comes to home projects like this but it was pretty simple across the board for my first foray into a room upgrade. The seller recommends using a miter saw for cutting and shaping them down for corners, but not having access to one I just used a cheap miter box (last pic) and it worked out really well, for about $12 from any hardware store. The cuts with a manual saw look rough but once sanded down they pressed together with barely any seam. Quick paint over the seams and they become completely flush. There’s a kit the seller has available that comes with basically everything you’ll need for a nice price for 80’ worth of molding, including the aluminum tape, caulk, caulk tool (not caulk gun), sandpaper, and spackle spot fix. I got this also but found it mostly unnecessary for my small room but I’m likely going to do more of this so it will get used eventually. I’d recommend getting a two pack of cable pass through wall plates with brushes for routing the power cable from the ceiling to floor for a cleaner hidden wire look, for about $8.All in all I would definitely recommend these, especially for someone like me who doesn’t have a shed full of power tools. It took me a full day of messing around with every step of the process but I’m extremely pleased with the finished result. I paired the molding with a fairly cheap 50’ (which are actually two separate 25’ strips that I connected) RGB LED strip which I was worried about the quality of, but the aluminum tape helps spread the light and keeps it even. If I do end up replacing the strip in the future it will be fairly easy because it’s stuck right to the aluminum tape, saving any sticky residue damage it may cause to the mold.My only complaint would be the shipping being pricey (about $40) and for them being as fragile as they are I imagine every order will arrive a little bit differently with very slight dents at the least and possible complete cracks at the worst. They arrived raw in the box without much protection so it’s basically up to chance (and your delivery person) if they show up okay. Luckily you can get around the lesser end of damages if you paint them so again, definitely paint them!

Excellent
These moldings excellent to work with painted them two coats beautiful...putting them up easy. If you have to construct a new corner edge a nice sharp razor blade doesn't have to come out perfect because this item takes spackling like a champ. Nuff saif

Looks like real crown molding!
We put this up in our bedroom with led lighting strips on top. It looks great! You can't tell that it's not real wood. Super easy to install!

You can’t even tell it’s made of foam!
The media could not be loaded. We used this crown moulding to add LED lights around our ceiling. It was awesome having the corners already cut. It was kind of like a puzzle to put together, but if you plan it out and make sure you have all the corners you need and where they need to go you’ll be good. The foam was easy to cut - probably easier if we got the tool kit, but we made it work. We just used adhesive to attach and we caulked all the cracks and added a layer of white paint to the boards, and the one inch of space we left at the top to make it blend it. Love how it turned out! Might have to add it to more room.

Very fragile
It's styrofoam, super fragile. Barely touch it and it will dent. I dropped a piece and it hit a sharp edge and, bummer. Handle with great care.
