Smith's BHS Broadhead Sharpener with Wrench
I have used this sharpener for about 3 years on Broadheads and western style knives with the normal dual beveled edge . The wrench was the original reason I bought it but have learned this is the best sharpener of this type made. I'm comparing it to several sharpening systems I have some costing $300.00+. I use it on NAP Spit Fire broadheads and others. Plus my carbon steel and stainless knives. I read somewhere it sharpens about 23 degrees angle and that is probably close. The blades are a course carbide type and can be reversed after prolonged use to extend the use of it. (I have a large number of hunting and kitchen knives) About the only other thing I ever do is with some Kitchen knives I use a diamond paste honing system to put a polished edge on . Although you really don't have to. My only regret is I didn't find this before spending a lot of money on other sharpening systems that are hard to use. (At 69 years old, hunting from the age of 9 I've bought a lot of knives and tried a lot of sharpeners) I've even used this on some old carbon steel Clyde Chef and Butcher Knives that had only a partial sharpening done at the factory (leaving the final edge to the purchaser). I would recommend this to anyone as a primary sharpening system for Broadheads or knives. Wrench works on most Broadheads too.

Bad Sharpener
Honestly - the sharpener just doesn't work very well. Without any instructional videos on YouTube or on the company's website, I couldn't tell if the sharpener was broken or if I just wasn't using it correctly. I have fixed broadheads and they SHOULD be super easy to resharpen. That said, this tool actually made the blade duller - to the point that I can forcefully push my thumb down the blade and not get cut. The tool to twist broadheads on and off works well, but hardly well enough to justifying buying this thing.
