Merrell Men's Geomorph Maze Stretch Multisport Shoe

I just purchased my second pair of these Geomorphs, after graduating to these from all 4 generations of the Merrell Chameleon. These are a lighter, more versatile shoe IMO. The more elaborate and reinforced soles offers a longer lifespan and more dependable interaction with whatever surface you're on. I still enjoy the same slip-on/slip-off convenience as the Chameleons, but these also have a more rigid heel backing that doesn't collapse under the pressure of your foot forcing its way into the shoe. I routinely wore out Chameleons in that very spot. More importantly, my first pair of these Geomorphs lasted as long as two (2) pairs of Cameleons in regard to sole insert life, heel backing and sole deterioration. Very happy, and as stated previously, I'm now on my second pair and have every confidence that they'll serve me just as well as the first.

I bought these to knock around in and hike local trails with my dog. They are just the ticket! The shoes are very comfortable and I really like the stretch fit. The color and styling look great too! Note that I already own another style of Merrell which is a boot and I needed to size up by 1/2 on that. So I ordered these 1/2 size larger than my usual shoe size, with that in mind. They fit perfectly! If I had ordered the 11 instead of the 11.5 they would have been too small in the toes. As for longevity? Only time will tell. This shoe gets my approval for fit, comfort, and style! If you have worn Merrell shoes in the past and liked them, you will love these. Only consider ordering at least 1/2 size larger than your normal size.

I had found a similar version of this shoe in a thrift store and found them to be wonderful. Of course at $5, I would have put up with some discomfort, but there was none, so when they began to wear out I decided to try new Merrells. While obviously far more expensive than thrift store prices, these Merrells fit, out of the box, as if they were custom made for my feet. As long as Merrell keeps making a shoe like this, I'll keep buying them.

I ordered these for my husband for a trip we were taking. I even paid extra shipping to get it delivered before we left. The shoes look great but he cannot get his feet in the shoes. The opening is just too small and does not expand like regular tennis shoes. I am now trying to see if anyone else in the family can wear these. If not, they will be returned. Unfortunately, the exorbitant shipping fee I paid will be lost.

I do like my Chameleon Stretch better, and I do have to remember these aren't waterproof. But the price is right. These seem a bit more fragile so if they don't wear as long I may switch back, but otherwise I'm happy. They seen nice and light and maybe fit a little better out of the box. No break in needed.Minor point - I miss the M on the lace lock.

Great hiking boot for summer! I wore this almost daily to work as well as on hikes and on the weekends. It is just now about fully worn out (December 27th, 2015). Quality was great and I really enjoyed the boots! I do still wear them when working on my vehicles or walking the dog.

I BUY THESE SHOES FOR MY GRANDSONS ALL THE TIME. THEY WILL NOT WEAR ANY OTHER NAME BRAND OF SHOES. I HAVE BEEN BUYING MERRELL SHOES FOR BOTH MY GRANDSONS SINCE THEY WERE ABOUT 6 YEARS OLD. ONE GRANDSON IS NOW 17 YEARS OLD AND THE OTHER ONE 13 YEARS OLD. THESE SHOES ARE SO COMFORTABLE AND LONG LASTING THEY GROW OUT OF THEM. MY GRANDSON WHO IS 17 YEARS OLD, WEARS A MAN'S SIZE 11 AND I JUST ORDERED HIM AN 11 1/2 SIZE. YOU WILL NOT REGRET BUYING MERRELL SHOES !!

pros: nice for light hiking and really nice for daily wear. Very light, very comfortable, never have to tie, and easy on/off. Breathe really well. My favorite shoes.cons: no angle support period. Get we in a heartbeat, even damp grass.
