Antbox Case for iPad Pro 12.9'' 6th Generation (2022) 5th/4th/3rd Generation (2021/2020/2018), Built-in Pencil Holder Auto Sleep/Wake Function PU Leather Smart Cover (Blue)

This is a very nice looking case. And it protects my tablet very well. I love the pencil holder. It’s easy to insert and remove the pencil. There are several different positions for adjusting the tilt angle of your tablet. I give public talks quite often and this works very comfortably on the podium.

I purchased this for our iPad Pro 12.9 inch 2022 model. I had previously purchased three different iPad Pro cases from different manufacturers on Amazon, which clearly mentioned in their description that they were compatible with the model of iPad we have, and that they sleep/wake the screen when the cover was closed, or that they had magnetic closure to keep the front cover in place when not in use. These three I found did not function as per described in their description with regards to these mentioned features and were all returned.I found the Antbox iPad Pro on Amazon and was very impressed with its mentioned features, and also the very positive reviews. On looking at its description and also with asking questions (thanks to the very helpful people who answered my question) I found that this case did sleep/wake the screen when the cover was closed/open, and also had a little magnetic flap that flips over and keeps the cover closed so as to stop the cover from opening when the iPad is not getting used. Also when the cover is opened, there is a little recess in the cover, where this magnetic flap sits when the iPad is getting used, this is a really nice touch and keeps it out of the way until needed. I really liked this magnetic flap as quite a lot of iPad cases have a rather cheap looking elastic band to keep the cover closed, and with having one of those kind of cases previously, I found they stretched in size, making the cover partly open and then the screen would wake, which would obviously drain the battery somewhat. In use I find that the sleep/wake and the magnetic flap function perfectly.I really like the four viewing positions that this case has, as I use the iPad for different things, from typing, web browsing, and watching You Tube videos, and found the angles were perfect for my mentioned use.The inside of the case is a microfiber material, which Antbox say is "anti skid" and in use I find it to stop the iPad from slipping out of position very well and also is really soft, so there is no fear of it scratching the iPad's screen. The insert where the iPad goes is a rubbery material and very bendable/flexible, which makes inserting the iPad easier and thankfully it is not the plastic type which in my experience end of going brittle over time and the corners crack/break off. Also in the insert is a place to put the Apple Pencil (if you have one) which I found to be a good idea, but I would have liked an option to purchase one that does not have this for the people who do not have an Apple Pencil, as this make the case a little larger than it would be. Maybe an idea Antbox to have a model with and a model without the Apple Pencil area!The outer of the case is made of PU leather, and it seems to be of a really good quality (and so is the rest of the finish and stitching on the case which is top rate) and the case is well up to its asking price in my opinion. A very nice touch and surprise was the included screen cloth included with the case, which is very soft (imagine the type of cloth you get included with spectacles but only much bigger).I found that with my iPad Pro 2022 model, that all the holes, cutouts etc, button placements, line up perfectly.Well not much more to add apart from if you want a really good quality iPad Pro case, that has a sleep/wake function that works, and also a reliable method of keeping its cover closed when not in use, then I can highly recommend this case.Please checkout the video I have included with this review, which shows the case off and also the sleep/wake function and the magnetic flap.

This was an expensive case but so far (had it for 5 days) it looks like it was worth my money. It’s very sturdy, smells nice like real leather, and it fits nicely on iPad 12.9. Please note that the case is rather heavy though - I guess the toughness makes it a bit heavier- so if you’re looking for a super light case this won’t do it. But if you are looking for durability, functionality and looks...well, you’ve found “the one”.
