Haribo BANANAS - FRENCH version

I really appreciate Haribo for providing the world with consistently delicious candy in such a wide variety of flavors. Yummy!

Ordered these gummies after tasting a bag of Haribos Banana gummies that someone gave me from Brazil, and I was so disappointed. These gummies were extremely hard and had a horrible after taste. Will never order again!

Out of all banana flavored gummies these are the BEST! The texture kind of reminds me of the circus peanuts of the 80s. Flavor is yum! Unfortunately not sold in the U.S. Found them on our trip to Canada where it was much cheaper to buy in person. Texture: Like a 1980s orange circus peanut

...Unless you've had these before and genuinely searched for this product - In which case, please continue with your purchase. I really only have myself to blame. I tried these on a whim. You see, I miss the many Haribo gummi varieties I encountered in Germany, so I occasionally splurge on imported candy through Amazon. Shame on me. I knew these were a special French candy, but I was lulled in by the appeal of bananas. If you're just a Haribo gummi-lover like me, don't be fooled. Like other reviews, I can only describe the texture as circus peanuts. Or maybe stale Peeps? Definitely more marshmallow than gummi. And really sweet. Not for me. Yuck. Again, not the candy's fault. I bet it tastes just how it should. Stale gummies do not transform into different candy.

These taste pretty good. Just know they are not a gummy candy. They're rather hard on the outside (I thought they might be stale) and creamy on the inside. They have a banana flavor, but they also have a citrus tart flavor as well. Not overly tart. I think I detected a bit of fizz to them, it might just be the citrus. They are very sweet. Not what I thought they would be, but not bad.

Great flavor and texture.

This product was ok but it didn't taste very real banana-y. It's like the school lunch pizza we all remember. It didn't exactly taste like pizza but it was still delicious. Same with this product. I wouldn't say it's an accurate banana taste but it's still kinda tasty.

These are basically smaller circus peanuts, with a thin coating of granulated sugar, and a slightly different banana flavor than normal circus peanuts (a bit more tart, like they added a drop of lemon). So if that sounds like something you'd like, you'll love these. I especially like the size, being about a quarter the size of a circus peanut. Though the coating makes them especially sweet. The price sucks, though. They aren't gormet enough to justify the premium.
