Good product.
Decided to pull the trigger on this one, after YEARS my old one finally gave out and wouldnt even turn on anymore. This one was decently priced and I am glad I took a shot with this, like the smooth operation and ease of use and like the color.

Great Product Recommended.
Great quality and a proven design. The battery lasts a long time between charges. And it's smooth. It's cheaper to use this than using standard razors on my legs. I have really sensitive skin and this is very nice.I highly recommend this shaver.

Reliable, quick, and easy to use!
I've been using the Braun Series 3 Electric Razor and overall, it's a solid product. It delivers a fairly close shave, is easy to clean, and performs well for daily use. That said, I do find myself needing to apply a bit of pressure to get a smooth result in certain areas. Still, it's a reliable and well-designed electric razor.

Unexpectedly replaced all my shaving products
Bought this to simplify shaving my head through the week since I'd had some barbers use them in the past. I'd heard that you needed to pay big money for a good one of these, so trying this was a gamble for me. Turns out I had nothing to worry about, since it is by far my favorite way to shave now! Unexpected perk: It works great for shaving my face to. I have to shave every day for work (military) and using a razor always had my face fairly chewed up by the end of the week. This does 90% as good of a job of getting close to the skin, with hardly any of the irritation afterwards. My facial hair is fairly thin, so a fast grower with thicker hair might find themself using it mid-day to stay clean shaven, but still. My scalp hair is super dense though, so the fact that this can chew through it down to an almost perfectly smooth scalp with near zero irritation is amazing to me.Standard caveats of using a foil shaver apply: It does best on shorter hair. If I go over a long weekend or a whole week without shaving my head, it takes much more work to shave it back down with this, but if I use it every day on my face and every 2-3 days on my head, it's a dream solution. Long facial hair that wants to stay stuck down close to my skin is especially problematic and may require lots of extra work, or an actual razor to have better luck with. However, I'd heard that these aren't as great for random directional hair as other shaver styles... I didn't find that to be a hindrance for shaving my head, which has super aggressive directional changes near the peak and rear. I just use it like I'd use a normal razor: rough work with the grain, fine work against the grain to get a smooth finish. Difference is, it doesn't have a solid chance of making me bleed when I go against the grain for a smoother finish, nor does it pull hair like crazy if it's not being used perfectly.I did break the head after about 5 weeks of use. I was trying to disassemble it for a deeper clean and got too aggressive with it I guess, causing a plastic tab to snap. Woops. Amazon overnight got me a new one the next day and even if I decided to replace these monthly (probably overkill), the heads are still economical compared to keeping normal razors sharp with constant replacements.

Best low cost electric razor!
This was a replacement for a similar Braun razor with fewer accessories. I charge it up and use it for a week at a time before returning it to the charging cord and it still is running strong. When the time comes to replace the foils it just might be a tossup between just buying another razor as there is very little difference in priceTo me the ultimate test was shaving a second time with a plastic razor. Very little facial hair removed. I recommend wet shaving for best results. So if you want a decent razor that won't break the bank, this is it!

Battery quality (and a new failure mode)
This thing shaves, great, is easy to clean, is perfect for traveling, but… don’t expect the battery to last longer than maybe two years. My very first Braun shaver like this lasted something like 12 years. Now, I’ve had three stop working after maybe 1-2 years. On one of shavers, I left it to charge overnight and the next morning, the shaver had bulged and you could hear the battery sizzling. On another, the battery wouldn’t hold a charge for maybe a half a shave, if that. This last one started making battery noises as well in addition to just not working. What kills me, is that I really like the shaver. It does a great job. I am currently shaver-less and I’m not sure if I want to invest in another one of these.I have purchased three of these from Amazon. They each have failed about a year after purchase (see image). Because I apparently like to waste money, I also purchased two others in previous years from Target and Walmart. All failed with some sort of battery issue... except this last one.The battery seems to be working in this one (imagine that), but one day when I was close to finishing my shave, the razor squealed like a rusty bearing and the motor started laboring to the point of stopping. I shut it off and finished with a manual razor. The next day, it started off working just fine, but started squealing sooner in the shave. Now I'm down to maybe 30 seconds of shaving until it binds. I'm expecting this one to become useless in the coming days.Thing is... do I get another Braun? I'm happy with the shave, but the build/battery quality is horrible. I wish I could have the very first one I ever bought. It appears they paid more attention to durability in those days. Do they even read these reviews? I'm not buying another one. Once this one is dead and gone, I'll get something else.
