No damage considering it was shipped in a flimsy box. What saved it was being packed with other things in our Amazon order. The rope was hot glued and there was some glue strings on the glass that came off easily. We are happy with it and it will serve the purpose for shell display. We spent $10 in gas trying to find something locally and were unsuccessful so we ordered this and we are keeping it.

Had the string decorations coming off a bit.

Arrived on time, box showed signs of rough handling and one hinge inside was split apart as though it had been dropped on that edge. The product was inside a flimsy bubble wrap sleeve that popped even as I just held it in my hands, which was inside a simple cardboard box, which itself was inside a larger Amazon box with only one side at all padded by a row of little air cushions. Amazon, for real, this is not your first rodeo; how hard is it to actually pad something for shipping?The box itself would have been nice but for the cheap brass hinges that wobbled and were barely nailed in, and the little decorative rope around the glass looked like a 6-year-old had glued it down. I had gotten this as a gift but after seeing it I probably would've returned it anyway; for myself I might have kept it had it not been broken.

Bought for our grand-daughter and she loves it!

Very flimsy. Had to replace screws right out of the box because the ones used were stripped and the lid was flopping around. Glass does not seem to be safety glass either. Pretty little box but poorly made.

It's really pretty and cute but came kind of broken. There was a crack in the wood and the hinges weren't very secure.
