My new favorite gimbal
LOVE IT. I’ve used every model of Glidecam and even the HD4000 can’t counterweight large cinema cameras...but this Flycam even without the springs can handle a Res dragon...and the best with the arm is super comfortable, reliable and very attractive to clients on set...thank god this thing exists

Overall okay, but not quite what I'd like.
I've used major name brand stabilizer + vest combinations since the early 2000's. I've never owned one, I would simply use ones provided to me by various companies. When you put one of those name brand units on and balance everything, the camera feels like an extension of your body. You put it somewhere, it just stays there. They're predictable and do exactly what you expect and want them to. This brand doesn't leave me feeling that way. The bearings are so loose and smooth that the camera feels like it has a mind of it's own. I fully weighted down the handheld stabilizer to try and see if more weight would help make it feel more natural, but it really didn't have any substantial affect on the handling. I tried it on two shoots in the one week I've owned it, and I ended up taking it off every time as I felt like the vest and arm got in the way far more than it helped. I've ended up sending it back as a result. I'm sure there are people who have never used the major name brand systems that would buy this and love it, but the step backwards is just too big to feel like it's worth the money spent.

Genuinely a good product for the price
I did like the comfort of the arm and vest. The quality was also not horrible. I did have a hard time balancing it but it wasn't super difficult. If you've ever balanced a motorized gimbal, you can balance this. It does start to struggle as you reach the max weight limit ( I had it fully extended with all the weight on it and it just barley worked). If you want a budget friendly option, this is right for you. But if you want it to perform like a professional one, it probably won't do that at the max weight. Overall not a bad product but not right for me

Decent product, Mine seems to be defective.
Product is simple and easy to put together and use. However, mine seems to be defective and I am currently waiting to hear back from Pro Aim. Once setup, the dual arm MALE PIECE slides perfectly into the FEMALE piece on the left female side of the vest. However, if I want to use the arm on the right side of the vest, I cannot, As the silver screws on the back of the female piece have pierced through. Thus, blocking the male piece from entering all the way. Preventing the male piece from being securely locked in. This obviously results in me only being able to use the Dual Arm on one side of the vest. Still for the price, this seems to be a decent buy. Depending on how quickly this issue is resolved, I suppose.

Vest good, gimbal eh.
The vest was perfect. I thought it would be uncomfortable. It did take a very short time to get used to, but I wouldn't say uncomfortable. Easy to put on however changing the springs was a bit of a choir. The Redking i had issues with. I was never able to get it to balance. I followed all instructions and even went to company page and youtube. I think the issue may have been the camera I am using , which is the BMPCC 4K. I tried my Sony on it and it did a better job but it never stop micro movements. I ended up having to return because it produced unstable footage . Where the footage was acceptable , it did not represent the level of work I was trying to reach. I will be ordering the vest separately or seeing what other options there are.

Missing items
Looks like it could be great. However, someone forgot to ship the whole vest and control arm. Needed it for a weekend shoot, had to order from another company. Sending this item back hopefully no one else has to go through this.

Damaged
Product was supposed to be open box “like new” but arrived with multiple damaged parts. Poor/cheap packaging, poor delivery quality and poor item description is why I’m giving this 1-star.

I love this product. All in tact and arrived in great time. Thank you so much.

Quite nice. Tho have to be careful with the adapter from arm to the glidecam, broke mine and cost 80€ to ship new from india thru ProAim. And not perfectly stable when weight is on the limit and stepping hard. But workes quite well. HARD LEARNING CURVE THO!

I use this with my Canon C100 fully loaded and it did not bow to the pressure. Excellent!
