I bought this for my cats who kept getting their toys stuck under the couch, and I was tired of having to move the furniture to retrieve them. I think the product is great! It has a little bit of stretch in it so you can keep it pulled taunt, but that stretch should not be forced to make it fit a longer length, buy the correct size for your furniture. I had length left over on the 9 by 4, but the entire back is velcro so you have the ability to adjust it smaller for your needs. I wish I had actually gotten a slightly longer one to cover 3 sides of my couch! I've never had an issue with the velcro coming undone and I 2 pretty play hard cats, so this works great for me. If my cats are really determined they can still get toys under the couch, but it happens way less often than it used to. I am looking forward to buying. A second one for another smaller piece of furniture they like to slide their toys under. Oh it will slip off the bottom of the couch if you are poking up the couch, so just make sure you remove it before moving furniture. Found that out when movers almost took it with them.

Outside of the product arriving late (thanks for nothing, Amazon Prime subscription) The funniest aspect of this product is that it can not perform its' one and only purpose, to keep things from falling under furniture. As soon as this product was installed, it became clear to me that there was absolutely nothing keeping the extremely flemsy material from bending and distorting upon being touched. This product can not block anything from getting knocked under furniture, as it simply moves right out of the way of anything that touches it, making it absolutely useless. This product is nothing more than thin strips Velcro, so if you want to make your own, you can purchase the materials at Wal-Mart for less money.

I hate giving negative reviews but when you are attaching these under a couch lengthwise it's not quite sturdy enough. First you have to make sure you have enough length to go from leg to leg and pull tight to wrap around the leg and Velcro the end to the strip in front of the couch. It's just too long and not sturdy enough. I may have done better just getting heavy Velcro straps or some other type of strap. I tested by kicking a very lightweight cat toy and it went right over it and under the couch.

This under-couch blocker has been a lifesaver for keeping my dogs from pushing toys under the furniture and then chewing on the edges in frustration. It fits well and stays in place, completely solving that problem. The only downside is that, being black, it attracts dog hair like crazy, so it needs frequent cleaning. Still, it does exactly what I needed—just wish it stayed a little cleaner!

The product does not perform the task it is designed to perform. It falls down therefore does not block items from going under the couch. Even if pulled tight, the item is flimsy and doesn’t stop toys from rolling under furniture.

I love it. It gets the job done. Easy to install. No more cars and balls and whatever else lost under the couch.

I bought several of these hoping I could jerry rig them to work around furniture and couches, to prevent the 100s of dog balls from landing underneath. I did everything from use super glue, etc... they work great for around 24 hours and then sag. Seriously all of them. They sag. I spend more time now trying to get on my hands and knees to retighten these than I did getting the balls out from under the couch.P.S. I never write reviews, but these are not only useless--they are infuriating.
