Update: I had reached out to the company, and they sent a working replacement for my son. Turns out we got a car that had a short in the motor, because the old batteries worked great in the new car. My son is satisfied, as am I for the great customer service displayed.My son JUST got this for Christmas as a gift from a grandparent. He played with it for a little while in doors, and it worked fine. He charged both batteries and went to use it the next day and doesn’t work. We are not an illiterate people, we take care of things and read instructions. Not sure if we received dud batteries, but I have a disappointed son. The box got thrown away, and not sure if we can return it.The controls work fine, but when the batteries are put in the car(by my husband to see what’s going on and why it’s not working) the car was on as well as the remote, and it was just blinking on the remote. The car itself looks pretty cool, and my son was quite happy to play with it for the day it lasted. I would not recommend buying this.
