These things are ridiculously thin. The reviewer who stated it's like trying to put an LP in cling wrap is not far off the mark in that assessment. When they arrive, you'll certainly think there is no way there are 50 of these things in this packet. Less than 1/4" thick, all of them. Perhaps that's what you're looking for, but it makes putting the LP back into these things a challenge. The LP will just miss the inner sleeve altogether they're so thin...until you get the hang of it anyway. They also crumple remarkably easy. It also doesn't offer much in the way of protection. It's almost as if there's nothing around your LP at all. It's just too darn thin. There are some other round-bottom style sleeves out there that are thicker (having more substance to them, and - at least psychologically - a feeling of providing better protection), for a fraction of the cost. You'll be just as well-served by those than you will these. Or, just stick to the "MoFi" style (and all of its variants) or some type of poly-lined paper sleeve if you're looking for change from standard/plain paper sleeves. These are a swing and a miss for my purposes.

When I ram out of MOFI inners I was looking for a solid upgrade. Watched YouTube videos and blogs and they pointed me towards the nagaoka. They claimed it was better than MOFI. Decided to give it a try and upon opening the package the opening on the inserts were folded already. And I wasn’t expecting them to be very thin. The quality wasn’t to my expectations based on over reviews. Super thin and they wrinkle without ease. Although I do like the style being shaped to the record but I’m better off with a regular MOFI inner.

My go-to inner sleeve are Diskeeper Audiophile Inner Sleeves. However, I use these in one, specific case: to line tight inner sleeves. Modern pressings with heavy vinyl and cardboard inner sleeves tend to be too much to support a thick poly liner. I prefer these to MoFi, QRP, and other "rice paper" sleeves for two main reasons:1) No inner corner to fold-over while trying to insert it. The one downside to this is that sometimes static will cause the record to pull the sleeve out along with it (since you can't pinch the corner to hold it in). The answer is to address the static.2) The dimensions are controlled fairly tightly. The width is never more than 12-1/16" in my experience (unlike some other brands where the dimensions can vary from batch to batch). I wish they were just a bit tighter, but because the film is so thin they can conform to a tighter space without crinkling too much.That said, the main downside to these is that the plastic film is very thin. This is an advantage for tight inner sleeves that will hold the film flat. However, I would not want to use these stand-alone. They are just too flimsy.

As an avid audiophile and record collector these are the best sleeves I’ve ever used...the shape of the sleeve allows the records to be easily inserted into tight jackets...
