Bought this because my battery powered trimmer couldn't cope with my laurel hedge. This hyundai has more power and I was pleased with the way it cut the laurel today! If you're fit and able to carry it at all angles required for a tall hedge this should do a good job for you. Easy to use. Great value for money.

When my old hedge trimmer packed in I assumed that a new one would be very expensive, so I was pleasantly pleased to find this model for around £70.It has a powerful motor, so It cuts through anything that you would reasonably expect it to.The cable is reasonably long too.I saw one review complaining that it was heavy!I have no idea what the reviewer has used before, but I find this trimmer to be relatively light weight and easy to use - after a couple of hour's use I was still good to go.One feature that needs pointing out is the rear handle - it can twist through 180 degrees and lock into place. This means that it is relatively easy to cut hedges on either side, on top or underneath, irrespective of where you choose to stand or whether you are right or left handed.Highly recommended!

This replaces a dated Bosch cordless trimmer along with a 10 year old hedge-cutting pole. The package came ready assembled from the manufacturer and was very well taped. (It took over 10 minutes to open the box!). I tested it quickly today and it cut through the neighbour's overhanging vines and creepers with ease. I didn't think it was very heavy, but for me it is noisy (I have ASD, so my hearing is very sensitive). I liked the angled handle option which allows it to be rotated through 90 degrees to enable easier cutting - especially on long stretches or awkward parts of the hedge. The cable is orange so easily visible and offers a decent range at 10m long. One point to mention is there does seem to be slight over-run unless both handles are released together.

The hedge trimmer is sturdy but lightweight. It is very easy to use. It has a twist function which means you can angle the blades to make cutting less tiring on your arms. It is overall good quality and worth the cost.

This is power full and noisy and ear defenders need to be warn. The large cutting blades make it ideal for a hedge like a conifer but are a bit to much for a finer leaf hedge like a privet, because of the large motor it is heavier than your normal hedge cutter, you are able to twist the handle so the blade can go at different angles like when you cut the sides of a hedge so you keep the blade flat to the side, good strong product.

I bought this due to the reviews but Shocking Hyundai 680w 610mm Corded Electric Hedge Trimmer used it for the first time and the trimmer starting smoking. Don’t buy it’s a waste of money

Quite noisy but wor,s well. I cut through the cord on the second time of using though....

Well made unit and is easy if somewhat heavy to handle. Not had a change to use it fully yet but have tried it out ande it does seem to do what it says on the tin.
