Does this stick to carpet and make a mess like play doh?

I just bought this June 2020 and there are pieces of foam stuck in my carpet... I cannot even get all of the little pieces out. I bought it thinking that it was a no mess product but it was false advertising.

Does it make a crunchy sound?

No, it’s not a crunchy sound. If anything, it may slightly make a popping noise, when it’s pulled apart. It’s soft. It’s an excellent choice, for children with sensory concerns.

Can you really separate the colors again easily when smashed together like the video shows?

No... not really unless it is big chunks of colors smushed together, then you could separate the colors, but if it is mixed in all together, then it would take a really, really long time to separate it all. Aside from that, this stuff is great... 1000% better, less messy than sand, slime, putty, and play doh so I do recommend it.
