You will learn: Introduction & Basics - About the Ultimate Bo style, the training sections, how to choose the right bo, choosing the correct size bo. Traditional Techniques - Holding the bo, stances, overhead front strike, 4 point combo, front thrust, reverse thrust, uppercut, overhead strikes, and blocks. Bo Kata 1 - Learn the first kata in the style, which integrates an array of powerful strikes, smooth footwork transitions, within a simplistic pattern. Demonstrated full speed, then sections #1-5 are instructed individually, along with a full kata follow along, and a full kata follow along from the back view. Combat Bo - Fighting grips, stances, positions, and footwork. The foundational necessities of learning how to spar/fight with the staff. Complete Follow Along Class - Includes a complete follow along class, just like coming to one of Sensei Michael’s bo classes.
