I've never had nice, much less pretty, nails, but at 72 I thought that I was used to that. *No wonder you see this everywhere. It's the best stuff out there.*I was using a national brand for years, thinking that it was removing my cuticle. Well, it wasn't. This product softens the cuticle and makes it easy to scrape off without harming your live skin.*And where have I been...for the past 30 years, I've thought my cuticle was the skin you push back. Not so, it's the white film that adheres to your nail under the skin, you push back. It's the protective barrier between your skin and your actual nail, and as the nail grows out, it sometimes comes along for the ride. You don't need to remove it unless you are painting your nails. For years, I had been trimming live skin, thinking it was my cuticle. There is no such thing as trimming your cuticles; you can scrape them, but you cannot trim them. Yikes!

I had heard this was a great cuticle remover, so I wanted to try it out. I do my own nails and put quite a bit of time into prepping them. This remover has been great at helping me get my prep done quicker. It isn't harsh, doesn't have an overly strong scent, and caused no irritation at all. It is easy to use and a little goes a long way. Using this with my angled pusher tool made it quick and easy. I decided to do my toes and it worked greatI like the bottle and flip style, it helps apply right where you want and amount you want. I'm glad I gave this a try.

I would say it's a great product to have. Its not expensive and I like to have it handy when I'm working on myself or others with bad cuticles. However, any type of liquid cuticle remover may affect the adhesion or longevity of gel products you may be applying. To avoid this you need to clean and dehydrate your nails very well or use it a day before you apply gel. That way your nails have absorbed any moisture.

I love this product!! I thought cuticle softener was just meant to hydrate the cuticles a bit more to make them easier to push back, but this thing is magic. It really does soften the cuticles and it makes it so easy to push and remove every little bit of cuticle there is. It gathers the pushed cuticle and makes it super easy to gently scrape away. This makes the process so much easier and faster. It’s done wonders for both my finger and my toe nails! No more shameful toes in the summer. Cuticle maintenance is necessary when doing your nails, so I’m proud to have beautiful nails thanks to this product!

Didn't work as good as the ones I've purchased in stores

So far, this is the best cuticle softener I've used. I pour it into a spray bottle and add half water. When using it, just spray it on the edge of the nails and it will be easier to clean the dead skin on the client's fingers.
