Sturdy, built well, cooks well, easy to use. Plenty of room for a family of five's appetite.
I'm really enjoying this grill and have already started the new season. It doesn't have every feature, but it's good for the price. Meets my needs, as I didn't need a Mercedes grill. Sturdy, built well, cooks well, easy to use. Plenty of room for a family of five's appetite.

Dont spend more than you need
I have many friends that have very expensive BBQ grills and all of them do the same thing. A gas grill gives you quick control over the level of heat. A larger grill gives you more room to cook and the ability to cook various items at the same time at various temperatures. I have never been able to tell the difference in the cooking ability between really expensive grills and the good ol Char- Broil. This is a new design for me to cook on with the tubular gas delivery system so I was a little doubtful it would give a wide even distribution of heat. To my pleasure it works great and delivers heat evenly across the surface. I might swap out the gas regulator to give me a larger flame for those items I like a good fire char on but overall this grill is great. I dont care what the experts say about charred food being bad for you, i like the taste and eating food is more than just giving your body fuel, its all about the taste and pleasure of eating.I also like the grill surface because its corrosion resistant and easy to clean. The heat registers are easy to take out to do a full cleaning and re-assembly is quick and easy, everything fits together well.Initial assembly requires common sense and it helps to look at the instructions and pictures. Overall it went together easily and seems solid enough to last for 5-10 years. I'm a daily griller so its gotta be tough to last at my house. The one downfall of this grill is the lack of a cover over the side burner. That was easily fixed by building a dual purpose burner cover/cutting board that gives me extra "counter" space on my grill for spices and a grillside board if I need to do any cutting while I cook.

Wasn't that hard to put together
I buy everything based on reviews. Some said this was hard to put together. Some guy said 2 hours and 2 beers later. I didn't drink beer like I was going to. I didn't feel like going to the store. I'm assuming I would have had at least 3. I took my time. Stepped outside for a cigarette break a couple times but all in all it was about a 3 hour project for me but it wasn't like it was difficult or anything. Only pictures but everything is pretty organized and labeled although I didn't see any #s on the actual pieces like it shows in the diagrams. Only the screws were labeled. On the cardboard part of the packaging on the back side. I put it together in my living room too. It wasn't supposed to rain today but it's Michigan and I couldn't wait so I put it together in my living room. Without beer but beer would definitely have made it more fun that's for sure. I'm giving this a 5 for easy assembly. I'll update after it stops raining when I can take it out of my living room and cook some food on it. Hope this helps at least for people who think they can't put this together because I did and you can too . And there are extra screws. I got nervous and immediately came here to see if others had the same experience and they have. You're not doing it wrong. There will be extra screws. Be patient. Don't rush it. Drink beer. Happy assembling 🤘😎

Works great
I really like this grill and use it especially in the summer when it's too hot to cook indoors. I use this to slow roast a brisket and a pork butt using indirect heating and both came out fantastic! The tiny grease pot didn't cut it, though, but placing a foil roasting pan from the dollar store underneath the grill solved this issue. ;) Both took over 10 hrs to cook and one burner on low kept a steady temp around 225f the entire time. You'll need to know how to put things together and take your time assembling it. Over the next few days after I used it a couple times, I went back and tightened down screws and bolts that needed it after the metal expanded and contracted from normal heating. As for the value, I have used $400+ grills and this one performs just as well in my opinion. Plus, I have a side burner that the others didn't have which I've used for making sauces, rice, and even boiling potatoes. I burns about 1# of fuel with all burners on medium per hour for me so a 20# tank will last me about a month of cooking several times a week. The cotter pins make removing the burners a snap making it easy to clean underneath them so I don't have any flare-ups from collected gunk burning when I grill the next time. I'm going to try smoking with it this weekend so I'll post back and tell how that went.

Where's the STAINLESS STEEL as advertised?
It took 3 hours to assemble and screws were hard to put in due to small spaces. You need to carefully read how to assemble. The striker nearly got broken so be careful with delicate parts. My husband assembled it but when I finally looked at it as final product, I could not see any stainless steel grill. The grates were coated and I could not tell if they were stainless steel. I thought I was buying a stainless steel grill like the one I saw in Home Depot, the grills/grates were made of stainless steel, as in shiny silvery metal. This one is black coated.

Great for Even High Volume
When we started hosting our neighborhood's BBQs at our place we wanted to invest in a big grill so we'd have more room for more food. But we have BBQed for a crowd of 200 people on this and never felt like it was too small. We ended up going with this model because the reviews were so good - and we can see why. Even when we were willing to budget more for a grill, this one met all our needs. The workspace is small, but setting up a folding table next to It is easy.
