Very Enjoyable
Doug Katona keeps you working hard from start to finish. I have several of these DVD's with several different instructors and I'm pleased with each and every one. I'm a keen spinner and work out 4 times a week and I'm able to keep challenging myself to push harder and faster and stronger. You won't be disappointed.

could be better motivating music
I like the class it was a good workout. I think they should have used more energetic music to get you really into the workout.

Very Nice Workout
This is a very good beginning workout. The instructor is motivational. I had some problems following him and the class on the jumps, but then I stopped looking at that portion and just went off of what was being said.

Seemed boring, no one in class spoke smiled or seemed like they were having fun. Not enough changes in the routine, mainly sat and climbed. Was happy when we finally did a few jumps and standing. Okay for beginners, but not enough variety for someone who has been spinning.

Five Stars
The spin program is top Quality. Plan to share the work out program with fellow bikers. Regards, Jerry

Lousy
This was the most boring video I have watched. I have attended many spin classes and when I go, I want someone that "makes" you get up and spin your butt off. This guy let you choose your intensity and just did not encourage me to do my best, instead, offered a way out at every level. I know that if you can't keep up it is ok to sit and rest and then resume, I am for that, but I need someone to make me get up and do my best.

Not my favorite
This was an OK workout. The instructor was very dull and not motivating. The music wasn't all that great either. I was able to get a decent workout and I will use it again- especially on days when I am a bit tired and don't want to push myself too hard. The DVD claimed it was a 50 minute workout but the ride was only a little over 42 minutes in total. I had to rewind a bit to get my 45 minute minimum.

This is by far the worst of the Maddogg spinning DVDs
This is by far the worst of the Maddogg spinning DVDs. It is easy to find something irritating in spinning DVDs, from the motivational speeches of the instructors, to the music, but most have enough positive qualities to keep you coming back. This one, however, hits every single possible irritation button: the music is okay in itself but has no link at all to the cadence, and quickly becomes very off-putting; the workout itself is the very poorly constructed, with negligible pacing, little cadence or heart rate guidance, and although I have tried it a number of times, each time I have ended the workout frustrated and irritable. The final factor is the instructor Doug Katona himself: he comes across as rather creepy, with a singularly unattractive smirking style, which, along with the poorly structured instruction, ensures that the overall experience is aversive. Vastly inferior to DVDs by Josh Taylor and Mike Michels from the same stable of instructors.

Fun, Fun, Fun
Love this DVD, it has everything in a "Spinning Workout". e.g. seated climbs, standing climbs, jumps, and everything in-between. The music is funky, and the instructor is upbeat also.Would recommend this to everyone, as it is good for beginners, but also allows for growth, for the more advanced user as well.

No sweat, this is a good one!
You want it slow, or intense, you follow the trainer as you want. 40 minutes of relaxed or crazy training... your choice. And good music too.
