The design is very attractive. The locks are not as good as I expected, especially when you put too much in the case. If you stand the case upright, it is easier to lock. The material gets stained easiliy, so if it is raining, dry it immediately, otherwise the surface may look stained. Overall, it is a good case for everyday use.

El maletín por fuera tiene un aspecto excepcional , buenos acabados , solido , es verdad que el asa de mano no es de lo mejor del maletín pero hasta ahora yo no tuve problemas. No puedo hablar de durabilidad , pero el maletín es de aluminio, por ende no es de los materiales mas nobles contra rayones y marcas de uso, el mio, al ser de segunda mano ya presenta algunas rayaduras, pero salvo que otros maletines tengan un tratamiento especial todos los que sean de aluminio van a presentar los mismos problemas. Lo que menos me gusto del maletín es el interior , utilizan unos separadores de muy mala calidad. La verdad que por el precio es lo mas decepcionante , son esos separadores plásticos que encontraríamos en cualquier producto chino barato pero que definitivamente no esperaría en un maletín de este precio. ACTUALIZACIÓN tuve que devolver el producto ... la verdad estaba encantado , pero tiene una falla muy grande y a la vez simple de solucionar , el maletin viene con una correa de agarre para llevarlo en el hombro y el dispositivo que tiene para sujetar el maletín a la correa es de plástico de pésima calidad lo cual no asegura que se mantengan unidos! Como resultado en 2 ocasiones el maletín se desprendió cuando lo llevaba colgado al hombro , un desastre !

Unser neues Büro: Schreibtischplatte ohne Ablagemöglichkeit, Schublade oder Rollcontainer. Unser neues Beratungsbüro: ein Stockwerk tiefer, ebenfalls "clean desk". Zu den vier bis sechs Beratungsterminen am Tag heißt es also: Koffer packen oder ohne weitere Bürounterlagen nur den Laptop mitnehmen. Mit diesem Pilotenkoffer habe ich mir einen Rollcontainer geschaffen, der aufgrund der Rollen so hoch ist, dass ich vom Schreibtisch aus hineinfassen kann. Aufgeklappt passen auf den Deckel Kuli und Textmarker in den Ösen, Visitenkarten Büroklammern, Klein-Taschenrechner und Einblatt-Locher in den Laschen und ein klammerloser Hefter für die Angebote/Unterlagen. Damit wäre die fehlehnde obere Schreibtischs-Schublade ersetzt. Im Koffer selbst befinden sich Briefumschläge, Beratungsmappe mit Block, die gängigsten Beratungshilfen im schmalen Din A4-Leitz-Ordner. Die schnell abzunehmende Klett-Tasche für Netzteile ist gefüllt mit Stempelkissen und drei Stempeln. Mit Laptop und Headset dazu geht es in die Beratung ein Stockwerk tiefer und auch wieder zurück. Solange das papierlose Büro in der Kundenberatung eine Illusion ist, ist das meine Antwort, mit der ich sehr gut lebe. Zum Produkt selbst nach vier Wochen intensivem Einsatz: Rollen laufen stabil, Handgriffe sind stabil. Der Deckel klappt jetzt ohne Probleme auf und zu. Ich musste mit dem Teppichmesser einige Ränder des Futters auf die richtige Höhe zurechtschneiden und habe ausgiebig den Klappmechanismus des Deckes eingeritten bzw. an klemmenden Stellem mit der Schlüssellochfeile korrigiert. Die Hakeligkeit und nicht perfekte Herstellung des Koffers wird oft kritisiert, insbesondere wg. des Preises. Dazu sei angemerkt, dass dieser Koffer mit dieser Ausstattung und aus diesem Material in unterster Preisklasse mitspielt. Man kann gerne das dreifache ausgeben und hat dann sehr wahrscheinlich nicht das Optimierungsproblem. Meine Kollegen wünschen mir also seit vier Wochen jeden Tag zwischen vier und sechs mal "guten Flug", und ich denke, das wird noch so lange weitergehen, wie auch ein Business-Anzug hält. Dann hätte der Pilotenkoffer einen sehr guten Job gemacht.

I recently purchased this case to house my Apple MacBook Pro while travelling. I liked the size of it, able to accommodate the 15" computer with enough space to secure the UK plug - which, being honest, is very big! The style of case was attractive and the finish gave the impression of quality without going in for that ABS Plastic that is coloured aluminium but looks weak and cheap. With the price offered, I made the assumption that is would be middle range quality at a fair price. Well, on the first airline trip I took, case with laptop, carried as hand luggage. The case was stowed in the overhead locker as per normal. On arrival at my destination, the transit in the air had managed to completely scratch the case just from the minor movements in the locker. Not impressed! However, I figured that the case had to accept some cosmetic damage as its function was to protect the computer. On my next flight the right hand combination seized up. Yes it seized up - at the airport!!!! The lock did pop open eventually but the combination had rest itself to 000. It reset itself, not I, as it was shut and locked at the time. The lock felt weak and no longer opened under spring pressure. I chose to carry on and use the case despite knowing that this lock was no longer reliable, and kept the code at 000. Anyway, come the next flight, the left hand side lock did the same and seized up!!!! Yes, it failed to open. I could feel that the tumblers had also reset to 000, but the spring mechanism inside would not release. I was concerned at how easy it seemed to feel the combination and wondered if these locks actually afforded any security at all. Anyway, at customs, yes .. you know where this is going ...customs now want laptops removed for separate X rays on hard drives. The case wouldn't open. It had to pried open by the border police, and using a drill bit, it popped very quickly. So in the end, this case could not survive three trips by aeroplane and it had not had any form of rough handling. On the contrary, it was well looked after by having the computer inside. I would strongly advise you to think again about buying this product. I have rated it two because as a case it is still functional but I don't know about locking it or clicking it shut. I am wondering if a lock smith could replace these faulty locks and I continue to use this easy to scratch case, as buying a replacement may lead to similar issues. So if a reliable set of locks could be found and replaced, then I would continue to use despite all the frustration it has given me. If I needed to buy again, I would definitely avoid buying such an item and perhaps stick to a traditional briefcase or black computer bag. I hope this helps others to think before buying. Cheers
