i purchased these for my kittens so i could tell the apart. they could also be used for small puppies to, to determined who is who. no confusion and great material. super easy to adjust. colours are all lovely and bright. perfect for what you need them for. very good value for money and well worth the price.

Easily adjustable, fits our springer spaniel puppies up to 6 weeks old. Far better than the Velcro felt collars as they fall off easily and come undone. These have never once come off!

These are really good. The Velcro ones just stick the puppies together and are a real pain to line up on wriggling puppies. These just slip over the head and tighten. Then loosen slightly every day. The jump rings that came on them are a good idea. I first marked some material with numbers and threaded it through. Then I made up some number beads and used them. As I just find it easier to recognise the pups by numbers. Will be buying the next size up shortly.

These whelping collars had been great at first—easy to use, stayed on well, and helped us keep track of the puppies. But after a terrifying incident, I can no longer recommend them. One of our puppies got their tooth stuck in a sibling’s collar during play. This caused the other puppy to be pulled and strangled. We rushed into the room just in time—she was limp, frothing at the mouth, with her tongue hanging out. We were only seconds away from losing her. It was a traumatic and heart-stopping moment. While these collars worked well otherwise, they are simply not worth the risk. Puppies chew, play rough, and tumble over each other constantly—anything around their necks needs to be 100% safe. Please consider using Velcro-style whelping collars instead. They’re soft, adjustable, and much safer for young pups. Don’t take the chance—we almost paid the ultimate price for a small oversight.

These are great, dont come off like the annoying velcro ones where puppies ended up being velcroed together! Loosened a little each day then brought the next size up. Lab pups now 6 weeks and still plenty of room to expand. Dont leave it too late to change to next size though as you'll need to cut it off. The only thing to consider is the end on some needed trimming and then melting with a lighter as I felt the end was a bit sharp on some. Because these can be washed they can be reused as well.
