Good replacement
I used this for fixing my backflow system and it was a perfect fit for 1inch piping. The only this is that is was a little shorter than the one I had to replace so make sure you take that in account if you have to cut pvc pipes.

Great replacement for pvc
Reworking well plumbing and replacing broken plastic valves. These should outlast me!

I'm no expert...but if you call it a ball valve I think it should have a ball...otherwise its a sleeve...
