It WORKS!!
Finally! I have had issues with hypergranulation since my G-tube was first inserted 3 years ago. I did everything that I was supposed to do, washed it with mild soup and warm water, made sure it was rinsed and then dry dry dry! This was done 2 sometimes 3 times a day. I would see improvement and be so happy and within a few days, it was back to even worse, like a fad diet. Lose it then gain it back and then some. Frustrating would be an understatement! I was offered the option of sulfur sticks.. can we say OMG PAIN! As you can well imagine, sulfur burns and no guarantees it will go away and stay away. So I took a pass. I kept searching online and then one day I saw this product with very good recommendations. I decided, what the heck, I've done all I could do and it doesn't seem to be enough. I even changed the type of tube I had, from the hanging tube to a low profile button tube. Which if you are wondering about, GET IT! The hypergranulation was in full swing when my little box of hope arrived. I read the instructions, prepared myself for potential pain ( I seriously thought there would be no possible way that I would not experience pain). Sterile Q-tip swab ready and then applied. Huh.. no pain, no anything, didn't even feel it as I brushed it on very gently and avoiding the skin around it. I later did place Vaseline on the skin closest to the hypergranulation to avoid accidental product getting on normal tissue. I applied as directed. Almost instantly the area turned white. I then dressed my button as usual and waited 6 hours. At the end of 6 hours, lo and behold, the area I had swabbed had shrunk so much I was in shock! It took all of 2 days to get rid of all the hypergranulation. I made sure not to apply any of the product inside the opening, but only on the area outside that would bleed, or cause pain when inserting or removing the extender tubes. I'm so grateful to the company that created GranuLotion. Please do not let the price sway you nor the fact that there are only 5 packets. I didn't even use a full packet. I rolled the end that I had cut open and used a paperclip with a magnet attached to it to place on inside of my medicine cabinet. 5 packets will last you far longer than you can even imagine. For anyone with the issue of hypergranulation and has done everything they can think of to treat it, I highly, strongly, most adamantly recommend this product.

Works great
Although it is pretty pricey in my opinion it is well worth the money for what it does. After my daughter got her g-tube she started getting granulation tissue built up around the stoma. We were using bacitracin but it wasn't helping much. We googled and found this and decided to give it a try. It arrived quickly and once we started using it her g-tube site went from so much granulation tissue built up that it was pushing her g-tube sideways to being completely flush with her skin like it was supposed to be!

Worked in ONE day
My daughter had her gtube placed and within a few weeks she had horrible granulation tissue. A fellow tubie mom recommended Granulotion and within ONE day of applying this to her stoma, it shrunk dramatically. By the second day it was 80% gone. The only thing I would change about this product is the packaging. A resealable pouch with the lotion would be better than large single-serving applications. Other than that I highly recommend this product!

Does not work, no changes in granulation tissue
I have been using this for two weeks, four times a day and have seen zero results. My daughter has some granulation tissue from her g-tube and it looks the same as it did two weeks ago when I started using this product. That is a lot of money to spend for something that does not work, and the worst part is they don't guarantee their product or offer a refund. Very disappointed.

works but packaging waste a bunch of the product!!!! :(
This works but honestly it comes in packets that waste most of the product and it is expensive!!!!!!!!!!! I didn't realize the doctor could prescribe something something cheaper that comes in a tube so little waste.

It works! Small package but lasts long!
At first I was upset by how little it seemed you get but you only need a very small amount to put on the area. The additional skin was gone in about a week! And we’re only used a fraction of one packet. Great value for your money!

Works perfectly when used correctly
This is a 5 star product. We used this on my fathers g-tube granulation tissue. The doctor that recommended it was wheelchair bound with a g-tube herself. As she taught us, less is more. Push most of the cream down to one end and a small amount to the corner you will open to not waste product. Open only a tiny bit of the corner packaging and squeeze a small amount on to the tip of a Q-tip. Make sure and apply ONLY on the granulation tissue (red, raw bumps around tube) as directed and as needed. Do NOT use this on the surrounding healthy tissue. (One negative reviewers thought it could be used daily on surrounding healthy tissue for prevention but this is not the case - healthy tissue will be irritated while granulation tissue has no nerve endings) If you have a wiggly little one or an unsteady hand, you might want to put a barrier cream on the healthy tissue surrounding first. We put the open pack in a snack size zip lock bag and try to keep somewhere it won't accidentally get squeezed. Because each pack lasts quite some time, it can start to get messy and its advisable to wear gloves when handling.

Just watch out for the rest of your skin because it stings something horrible and it seems impossible to protect
We found this irritated the surrounding skin even when using a barrier cream. However even so it does do what it says and get rid of granulation tissue. Just watch out for the rest of your skin because it stings something horrible and it seems impossible to protect.
