Great price. The sheets are large, so I have to cut it down to size for my large Honeywell 50250 air purifier. A pair of kitchen shears will cut through it like butter. Very little carbon debris to clean up after the cutting, if any. Just lay your used carbon pre-filter over the new one cut on the kitchen floor to get an exact cut. I use my original pre-filter for the last 2 years before changing it out. You can extend the life of the pre-filter by removing it from the filter, laying it out and vacuuming it clean with a vacuum brush. It will last another 3-4 months before the yellow light signals for you to change the pre-filter. Just vacuum it out again and again and reuse, you are good to go. Also don't forget to vacuum the filter itself as well. Do these things will extend the life of the filter also. The only reason I am replacing the original pre-filter is because I have these new pre-filters and it is time for a new one.I bought several pre-filters to last the next ten years or longer. The new pre-filters are working great. Good value at a good price.

Works great on my HEPA filter. This pre-filter material is dense, sturdy and impregnated with lots of carbon while still allowing for excellent air flow. As well as the noticeable improvement in air quality, I could see the difference on first time cleaning it, as it filters out more dust than the pre-filter that comes with the HEPA filter.

I needed some filter material for my Miele robot floor cleaner. They charge a lot for their little pre-cut filters. This pre-filter material was perfect for my needs -- it's cheap, it's as thin as the Miele product, and I can cut it to size as needed. I also cut some for a air intake vent for our furnace that's on the floor. It's not so much to filter the air, as the furnace filters do that, but it will keep out dirt and other small objects that like to roll and fall down into the duct work. I can think of many other uses for it as well that I will try -- like the filter on the range hood, bathroom fans, etc.Just one negative comment -- when cutting or handling, it 'sheds' the black carbon dust that's bonded to the filter material. It's not a big problem and doesn't happen once it's installed though.

I have a smoking room. I put one of these over the air intakes and it reduces the smell like crazy.I also add it to my air purifier for a lil extra.Carbon has little holes in it that odor causes ing particulates get caught in. It lasts about 5-6 months before it gets filled up. Honestly I’ve even cut it to the size of of my car air filter and added it there as well.Life hacks

This is very well made carbon filter material. I used it to replace the pre-filter on a HEPA room filter. I also cut small pieces and use them in my vehicles cabin filters as a pre filter ones that didn't have it this material is thick but not too thick that it interferes with anything and it definitely will not restrict airflow unless of course it gets clogged.
