Indispensable In My Kitchen!
I cannot and will not be without this cookbook. It is full of easy and quick, well, sauces, dressings, and toppings, lol. Every single recipe has been delicious. One of the best things about this cookbook is that it makes for a dinner on the table in lightening speed. Steam some veggies or make a salad, grill or pan fry some meat or a burger, and use one of the recipes from this book. It makes for endless variety but easy, fast, healthy. Perfect for weeknights! Here are a few of my favorites:Tartar Sauce: I eat more fish because of this recipe. Simply amazing. And it works on everything from sole to salmon. And salmon cakes!!Hollandaise Sauce: So simple but so flavorful. A little goes a long way and a unique way to use it is as a dressing for a chopped salad with hard boiled eggs, tomatoes, avocado, cucumbers, scallions, and leftover roasted chicken. Of course it's great for the more typical uses as well.Sausage Gravy: 3 ingredients and amazing flavor. I watch my carbs so I top a spaghetti squash omelette (from the Quick and Easy primal blueprint cookbook) with this. I recommend the pork sausage from US Wellness.Spicy Poblano sauce: Perfect for a mexican fix without the junk. Pan sear any meat and top with this.Creamy Arugula Sauce: So summery and refreshing. I add some lemon juice and turn it into a dressing.Stir Fry Sauce: Delicious!!! I like to add a tsp of red boat fish sauce for some extra flavor.Coconut Milk Whipped Cream: Decadent! And guilt free. I top 1/2 cup of berries and sprinkle some slivered almonds for dessert.Ranch Dressing: The best ranch dressing hands down. I don't do dairy often but this is a nice splurge for me.Bacon Dressing: Need I say more?Sesame Coconut Dressing: Yummy for an asian style salad. Add some almond butter to make it even more decadent.Mayonnaise: To me most homemade mayo recipes are all pretty much the same. Oil, eggs, salt, lemon juice, and/or mustard of some sort. The real difference is the oil you use. I use this as my basic mayo and do 1/2 and 1/2 of avocado oil and light olive oil.Blueberry Chutney: I've made this with cherries too and it's yummy both ways.Taco Seasoning: awesome way to avoid the stuff in the packets...with all the junk.Nori Salt Blend: Mmmm! Reminds me of furikake. I use it on eggs and asian salads. So as you can see I use this cookbook all the time. I never thought I'd get so much use out of a book without any "real" recipes. This has become one of my favorite cookbooks though!

Best thing I have ever done for my body, mind and health
I found Primal Blueprint in May 2011. I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia in September 2010. I did 6 months of restricted calorie (not too much!), low-fat, high-carb - lots of "healthy whole grains" -, low-sugar, plenty of fruits and veggies. I got plenty of exercise through the week, making sure I did lots of long sessions of high intensity cardio and strength training was light weights with lots of reps. I lost 10lbs. AND I WAS BECOMING DIABETIC!!! A bowl of oatmeal and an apple made my blood sugar skyrocket and then crash HARD! I just mistook it as hunger even though it felt more like a cortisol/adrenaline rush. I figured things out months after Primal when I started tracking my blood sugar - my Fibro was actually Reactive Hypoglycemia - prediabetes. My body was starting to break down on me and that is how it manifested. Those spikes/crashes stopped immediately when I went Primal. I dropped 12 more lbs. End to end digestive problems disappeared. All day lethargy disappeared. BELLY FINALLY DISAPPEARED!! My anxiety issues cleared up. My taste buds are alive again. Eating fat like from meat or coconut milk makes me hyper. Makes me need to get up and do something...interesting that taking in energy makes me HAVE TO get up and expend energy. Love it.That being said, I LOVE THIS BOOK. I've already tried the Cajun Rub and it was sooo good on my lamb chops and I even had some on bacon and eggs. Delicious. I'm going to be making some ketchup and mayo today. Fingers crossed on the mayo!! Even got my pastured local eggs! This is a great book. The recipes all look so good. And Mark's tips for how to shop for animal foods when you don't have access to pastured (or the $$$ to purchase) is always dead on. Thank you, Mark for creating a lifestyle that is tasty, fun, and oh so healthy. By this time next year I hope to have been through that entire book. GROK ON!!

Excellent ideas for sauces and marinades
I love the fact that this recipe book is so versatile. Each recipe lists what meats any particular sauce or marinade would go well with. There are also recipes for dips and dressings. I find it really handy to have the recipes all listed in one book - it means come home with your chosen meat, decide what flavour you fancy, and off you go! Sometimes the simplest recipes are the tastiest. I'd highly recommend if you have trouble coming up for recipe ideas on your own.

recipes are really easy and sound delicious
recipes are really easy and sound delicious. So many cookbooks try to be too many things and add unusual ingredients. That's great to add interest unless the reader can't get the weird ingredients. Not a problem with this one, love sauces I wouldn't have thought of, goes great with the entree cookbook

Just what I expected
The book is as expected. Great recipes and well organized. Great resource for adding something new to your paleo menu and just as good for anyone else who is gluten free/dairy free and looking for a good alternative to old faves and new tastes.
