Nice watch

This is a lovely retro diver watch, I only sent it back because I just could not get on with the Cyclops on the date, I just don't like them, but I thought as it was small it wouldn't bother me, but it did. Pros: Beautiful dial and watch case finish Great strap "waterproof" leather - not sure if it is, but it feels different, high quality Reliable Seiko movement Lovely sapphire crystal great proportions on wrist Good lume Good bezel action Quality materials and build all-round Original design - not a straight "homage" of anything Cons: It's a bit "thick", which is not helps by the back cover which domes out a lot... if this was more flat it could be 1mm thinner easily. Didn't like the cyclops on the date.. many diver watches don't have this anymore.

What a fantastic watch! Excellent, robust Seiko movement, which is common at this price point. Sapphire crystal, with anti glare. Nice round Cyclops. No crown guards, which gives it a more vintage look and not a submariner clone. This really is a great watch for the money. (don't pay more than £200). Only negatives: bracelet isn't tapered, which it should be a for a 40mm. And the watch itself is a touch thick. Not much, just a mm or so. Overall though, it's a great watch. I've got a Submariner, a couple of Omegas, etc but this isn't too far behind. It has a bit of a Tudor look to it (that no crown guard look that they like). And don't forget, it's 150m water resistance, not the usual 200m but it really doesn't matter. I've dived with it to 20m and it's fine.

I bought this as it has a plain face with nice easy to see hands. I am slowly losing my sight and was finding my old watch difficult to read. This watch has solved that problem. A bonus is that it does not require a battery. I'm fed up with batteries that run out at the most inopportune moment. The leather strap is nice and sturdy so it shouldn't weaken and break after a while. The only downside is the date 'window' which is pretty useless. The watch would be better without it. Otherwise it is a great watch. I doubt I will be swimming in the future so I can't comment on the waterproof aspect.

Love my new spinnaker, feels quality and looks great too, the box didn’t have an instruction manual so had to look online to find out how to set time and date as wasn’t like my previous watch, but figured that out pretty quick, only other thing is it doesn’t have a window to see working parts on rear, photos online suggest it did have so that was a bit disappointing too, other than that great watch

Perfect size diver for my 6.5 inch wrist. Firm bezel action. Love the color scheme. Wearing on a Barton silicone strap. Leather band supplied is very nice. But the silicone band conforms more closely to my wrist giving me the look I like. Keeping very good time on this first day of ownership. Lume is very good. Has a nice vintage vibe. Like the circular cyclops. Lastly very reasonably priced. Highly recommended !

Mouvement automatique Seiko, verre saphir, finitions soignées…pour un prix très bas. Valeur perçue largement supérieure !
