Verbatim Blu-ray BD-R Single Layer 25GB 6XScratchguard surf 10 Disc Pack

These Blu-ray discs use an inorganic data recording layer for maximum durability compared to cheaper dye based discs. I used mine for archiving my two decades worth of photos over five discs, and kept one set in a bank safe deposit box, and the other copy at home.

I bought theses because others kept falling. I have only used one so far on a project which had failed 3 times on another make of disc. This worked perfectly so fingers crossed for the guy

The last time I actually burnt and used physical media, was back during the CD-R days! Back then it was hit and miss with coasters all over the place. Recently I purchased an external bluray writer in order to make copies of my wedding BD-R's and these 10x Verbatim BD-R's. Long story short - All 10 were super smooth and were written to via ImgBurn and verified 100%. I am impressed!

I don't know if I have just had a bad batch, but I have had nothing but problems with these discs. Writing to them gets so far then stops. I have wasted more discs than I have successfully written. I do not have this probelem with other brands.

I have had these type of disks for many years and always re-order the same marque.I have no problems with them at all - never had one fail on me yet.A very good product
