Excellent book to expand your ability of working with hot wax

I'm new to Encaustics...and this book is really inspirational...I can't wait to get into this!! Great tips and insight in this book!

Awesome Book. Will use this one over and over again. Followed the tutorials, and my 2nd practice piece turned out well enough that I felt comfortable posting my creation on-line to one of my groups. Michael Bossom is a very talented encaustic artist, whose style is very user friendly. I highly recommend this book to artists who are eager to venture into the world of encaustic art. This is a great book full of ideas for encaustic art (though as a "project book", the ideas & styles can easily be used in any other form of art). For anyone who has bought the "Learning the Skills" or "Quick Cards" DVDs by Michael Bossom, this book goes far beyond the styles of encaustic art previously explored - similarly, for anyone who has watched his videos online.Encaustic art is a fantastic way of painting, and I'd recommend this book to anyone, no matter how new to it, or advanced, they may be.
