Greenlee200XP Amplifier Multi-Filter Tone Probe

I bought one of these probes about three years ago and lost in in a ceiling somewhere. It had the Tempo brand on it. Since then I have used the Progressive Electronics red/gray probe...the predecessor to both the Tempo Filter Probe and Greenlee 200XP. The reason I wanted this one was that I got a bit tired of having to hold the button down the whole time you are using the Progressive Probe. A short press turns the probe on with no filter active, another press, filter level 1, another press filter level 2. A long press turns the probe off. The Tempo Filter Probe had an auto off function that beeped twice before it turned off the probe...it was a bit irritating. This probe is a definite improvement over the previous two models. I would give it five stars except for the fact I can't tell much difference between noise filter level 1 and 2. That being said it does filter noise caused by florescent lighting, background music, and other inductive sources.

Someone misplaced ours so I bought this one. The price was excellent. Some of the vendors were charging incredible prices.

Awesome probe couldnt ask for anything better and the price is great if your in the telecom industry id definitely recommend this.
