Reminds me of my childhood

I've bought these several times previously and they were good. This last time they didn't taste sweet enough. They tasted like the only sugar was on the outside and they got real sour tasting after chewing a little bit. Basically not edible for my taste buds.

Tastes great. Not too spicy. Somewhere between mild and medium. Three stars only because of all the seeds it contains.

These tamarind are delicious. Perfect sweetness with some sourness. Seeds didn’t bother me because these are real tamarind fruit. Wish they had large bags because my brother finished the entire 16 oz bag in a day.

I've been buying tamarind balls at local Mexican markets my whole life, these ones are the best I've had since childhood memories - the tamarind is fresh & moist and not dried out, not too much sugar has been added & the sugar crystals aren't large & gritty (like some other brands), there's just the right amount of chilli added - if you've never had these before, be aware that each little candy will have tamarind seeds in it, they are approx. the size & hardness of a dried pea - if you like them extra sour, squeeze a few drops of fresh lime atop

Good stuff. I shouldn't, but this may end up on a subscription basis. I just ordered the bigger bag, the small one didnt last very long.
