Item appeared to be well made and well packaged, but was not compatible with my Lutron Maestro CL (led) dimmer. LED/dimmer compatibility can be tricky, and this was difficult to check in advance since this light is not from a mainstream manufacturer. The product listing seems to imply that it will work with any dimmer, which is misleading. When I installed the light, it would only function on the highest dimmer setting - when I tried to dim the light, it would flicker and turn off. Am returning for credit.

The media could not be loaded. I wasn't sure I would like this light when I ordered it, but I took a chance on it because I could get it for free through Amazon's Vine program--a program designed to gain reviews for new products by giving Vine reviewers the product in return for their review. Because I pay FICA and income tax on the value of Vine items received, I, like other Vine reviewers, have a financial stake in the product. It's not entirely cost free.So, I wondered about this light. It looked sophisticated from what I could see of it in the pictures, but the pictures weren't entirely illuminating. The product page claimed a design award for the light and the award when I looked it up seemed to be both real and prestigious. So I got the light, but I felt I was getting a mystery that could turn out poorly.Let me thus say clearly that this is indeed a quality light at a killer price. It's every bit as sophisticated looking and classy as I hoped. The metal is thick. The light ends are smooth. This thing is sleek and beautiful and I'm pleased.Now, there is one negative I must acknowledge. There's probably a workaround out there that some electrician or inventive purchaser can figure out, but the box that is attached to the ceiling that contains the wiring and from which the light bar itself is suspended is a long thing rectangle. Unfortunately, it is so thin that it will not cover a junction box--and it is designed to be attached to a junction box. So in the box with the light are two round metal disks. One is the typical backing plate that comes with most lights for attaching them to a wall or ceiling junction box. That round plate has concentric grooves for fitting the plate to a junction box. If you're ever installed a wall or ceiling light you know the kind of plate I'm speaking of.... It's bright silver and cheap, but it's necessary to be used because the light is designed with holes in the back of its base for installation using such a plate attached to the junction box. This means that there is a one-inch semi-circle of silver on either side of the light--little silver wings from the attachment plate sticking beyond the light base on the ceiling.The second metal disk is a round white disk that is designed to cover the silver disk. You are meant to sandwich the white plate between the back of the light's base and the silver plate attached to the junction box.This is simply a crude and inelegant manner of attaching the light which betrays the light's otherwise sophisticated appearance. I suspect the best way of attaching the light will entail drilling holes through the back of the base and somehow attaching the light directly to the ceiling--and perhaps not using a junction box but simply pulling a cable through a hole in the ceiling into the light.Look at the pictures of the light and you will see that none give a good view of the attachment of the light to the ceiling--and many don't show the base of the light at all. I don't think many purchasers who like the real beauty of the light itself will be pleased with the supplied method of attaching it to the ceiling. Look at my included video for a better sense of what I'm writing about.I don't mark the light down because of this. It's a spectacular light. But it certainly is hurt by the janky attachment hardware.

As I am working on details of my new home office, I wanted to find a very minimalist type of chandelier or lighting set that would provide a broad range of light over the center of this room. I found several options, but I was completely sold on this particular LED chandelier. The simplistic look really caught my eye. Now that I've gotten this home, I will list the reasons I decided in the first place to pick this one.*Design: Very basic and simplistic design. Straight forward- providing amble light without the distraction of an overly artistic light system. This exudes professionalism and is durably made.*Special features: "Flicker Free" lighting- we all know how irritating blinking/flashing lights can be on our eyes, they designed this to be gentler and not so harsh on the persons eyes.*Dimmable*Adjustable- pick the exact height you want your chandelier to hang. love the flexibility of this.*Options: you can choose between direct light or indirect light - excellent feature* LED lights used which last an incredibly long time- estimated around 50,000 hours*Assembly: took some time but not too bad overall. Instructions were very helpful.*Dimensions for your reference: 48"L x 48"W x 60"H with a weight of 7 lbs*Environment: Indoor use only*Mounting type: ceilingOverall, I find that this chandelier was built with precision and great thought. The chandelier provides an abundance of light - and I love the fact I can adjust the lighting so simply. This is definitely an "investment" piece that with proper care should last a very long time. It is very professional looking and not over the top. With the anodized aluminum build, this is a very sturdy and durable chandelier. I couldn't be happier. I did NOT find any sort of defect in the appearance or function of this chandelier. I'm more than satisfied with the outcome. Therefore, based on these factors, I would absolutely recommend this chandelier. It does not only go in an office or retail space, this can be used in the home over a kitchen Island for instance.
