I like this machine. I have had it about a year and I used to do this with construction adhesive by hand. It is several steps up from that. Make sure the glue you get is fresh. It has a shelf life and old glue is not good. The fence to the right of the glue cylinder has to be adjusted correctly. You will have to make a spacer if you band thin strips of wood that are less than about 2.5 inches as the first runner is more than an inch or so from the cylinder. I just ripped a piece of wood to fill that space so that I can band a piece that is 3/4" wide. The thinner banding material works better on this machine and it is easier to trim but once the piece comes out of the machine. The banding is glued very quickly and can be trimmed right away.No waiting for the glue to dry. This saves lots of time. I recommend this machine, but it needs fresh glue. Make sure the company you buy glue from does not send you old glue that has been sitting in a warehouse somewhere. It does not stick nearly as well as fresh glue. You can make professional looking banding with this machine.

Great Product!
Right when i got the machine it helped my production instantly. By the way I'm from Hawaii and with free shipping it's always a plus. Edgebanding Supply (Nicolas) helped me from point A to Point B. I even got the trimmer from him and they are now shipping my sliding table saw. Great product with Great Costumer service hands down.

Great machine
Great addition to my shop. We do maybe 1 frameless kitchen every couple of months and couldn’t justify a large automatic edgebander not only based on cost but also shop space. This machine works great. It takes a bit to get just the right amount of glue on the panel but once you do this machine makes banding and trimming pretty darn simple. We do mostly prefinished maple plywood with PVC banding and it works very well. It also does a phenomenal job on melamine.Highly recommend the Maksiwa trimmer. It does a near perfect job of trimming and squares the end cut which always gave us fits when manually trimming.

Fantastic little machine, heats up in roughly 10 minutes and works very well. Perfect for a small shop and worth every penny. A huge time saver!Update my machine is over two years old now and it still works perfect. Has paid for itself 10 times over. This is not a toy, its a real edge bander that saves so much time. If you are still contacting your edges on by hand , you really need to check this machine out !
