What a gem this book is. I'm so glad I found it on here as I was looking for books to encourage me as I'm struggling. It's like having my own personal counselor at my fingertips. The author touches on so much and she engages the readers with a few questions here and there and makes you dig a bit into your heart and ask some personal questions. It's been such a needed encouragement for me and I'm learning so much about what God desires from us and ladies, we can do it! It just takes intentionality and repetition and good talks with Jesus. I ordered this book for a sister, and she loves it so much too. She just got it and is on Ch.5Don't hesitate. Buy this book, you won't regret it. Not only will you be encouraged but patiently challenged. This author has walked what she encourages. Love it!

Just what I wanted

This book was a great read for me considering that I lost my husband in the San Bernardino terrorist attack. This book focuses on the way you usually react to a difficult situation and how you can change your thinking based on Biblical truths. Lots of scripture references. My only complaint is the author doesn't follow the Torah, but this is common with Christian authors.

I purchased this book at the exact right time. It was delivered at the perfect time when I had begun to really go through hardships. This book is refreshing, uplifting, motivational, and assures you God is always on your side and for YOU no matter what you've done or your circumstances. The topics she touches base on is exactly for ME and powerful. I would re-read a lot of sentences and before I knew it I'm crying tears of JOY and HAPPINESS. Everyday I grew stronger from this book. The assurance throughout this book is undeniable. If you finish this book feeling any less than okay, read it again, and again. I stand 100% behind this book ladies.

This book is amazing! It has helped heal me and look things in whole different perspective. I would highly reccomend this book to any women who is hurting, feeling alone, or just needs encouragement. Awesome book! Two thumbs up.

My mom has level 3 dementia and I got her this book to lift her spirits when she was having bad days. She LOVED it and read the whole book in a few hours. She does keep it by her bed, so she will go re-read it often. I think she forgets she has read it so it is new every time and really does keep her spirits up.

Meh, it's an okay book. It certainly didn't help like I hoped it would, and seemed to be a string of witticisms, but definitely reminders of truths about God and our place as man. There is some workbook-like stuff in here, which may be helpful for some. That's not how I cope though, so my book is pristine. I could definitely see how some people would like it, but it just wasn't for me. Easy read though, I digested it quickly (maybe that was part of the problem). It's still a nice book and I'm not critical of it. Definitely a woman's book though, I would say. A much better book for helping me has been Timothy Keller's "walking with God through Pain and Suffering". It's a headier book, but I feel like it hits my mind and my heart a bit more.

I read this book at just the right time in my life. It had been on my "to read" list for months since I bought it.I had just come out of a very long-time friendship which, until the last few years, had been so precious. Sadly I felt that something had dramatically changed in the dynamics of the relationship and I could no longer continue. I finally, through certain circumstances, found my brave and ended the relationship. It was so, so hard to do; I knew it was right, I had such peace through it all. This book has helped me in so many ways in finding the way ahead for my life. Just the words, "you're going g to be OK" said by someone I don't even know meant so much! Thank you Holley for your kindness, encouragement, gentleness and honesty. I'm going to be OK!

I found I couldn't read this book slow enough. I wanted to take every thought and idea in. A book that will stay on my shelf and be referred to often.
