The children in the preschool are going to love having more than 1 motorized train engine.

The media could not be loaded.  Oh my goodness, these little trains were a hit as soon as I put the batteries in them! I have a toddler and she loves playing with cars. When I saw these I thought she might enjoy them. They are super easy to turn on and off. You just tap the top of each train to send them off! You can also turn the switch at the bottom of the cars off completely. I love that these came in a two pack, you can race them both at the same time! These little trains were not only a hit with my daughter, but with the dogs and cats as well! And I have to say I had fun watching my toddler and all the animals go crazy chasing these little trains! I have laminate wood flooring but lots of rugs. As you can see in the video these little trains have no problem rolling from the hard floors to the carpets! My daughter has been playing with these every day since she got them. You can't go wrong with these!

These train engines are super cute. I love how easy they are for the kids to turn on and off. They are almost too sensitive to touch, but there is an off switch on the bottom and then you don't have to worry about accidentally turning them on. So, these are great. But they aren't compatible with any of our train tracks. To be fair, it doesn't specifically say in the description which tracks they are compatible with. But the problem actually wasn't even size. The wheel base is the same size as our other trains. Yet these trains won't move on our other tracks or will only move an inch or two before derailing. When placed on the floor they roll great, though.

Once I figured out how to put in the batteries these were so fun for the grandkids to play with. With the easy one touch on/off function even my 9 month old grandchild (who is learning to crawl) enjoyed them.They did stand up to being thrown a few times on hardwood. (Why do kids throw toys when they're excited!?!? LOL)There is a simple on/off switch on the bottom if you want to turn them off when they are not being played with. It's a nice added battery saver function, that as parents and grandparents we will all appreciate.I did not try them on a track, or carpet, but they worked just fine on a hardwood floor.

The media could not be loaded.  These touch and go trains work well - a little too much so. Tapping on the roof lightly makes them go or stop very easily. In fact, just handling them can trigger them to run. This can be frustrating for kids. Picking them up off the tracks seems to make them stop after a few seconds too.These move pretty quickly - we had to chase these across the floor when they got away from us. For small kids, it would be nice if these were just a little slower.There's a little blue joint on the back that can attach to other Chuggington trains.These take (2) AAA batteries each.

My son used to LOVE Chuggington but there weren't any toys out at that time. So I HAD to order these! Hes obsessed! We've been watching the show all over again while he plays with these! They take two AAA batteries each. When you touch the back if them, they take off on their own and run for 3 minutes before shutting off. They even worked on our carpet but definitely worked better (obviously) on the vinyl flooring in the dining room. You can connect other trains to the backs of them to make it longer. So glad I found these!

So cute and well made, bright colors, sturdy, strong plastic with no sharp edges or small pieces and an Exceptional gift for a four year old!!! Each train takes two AAA batteries and they fit nicely on most train tracks like Chuggington!! Also can be played with on any smooth surface, like your dining room table!!! LOL, definitely keeps a youngster busy, happy and entertained for hours, especially mixed with other Chuggington products!!! Great Christmas gift for any toddler!! Thank you!!!

My almost three year old grandson loves to race these trains across the kitchen floor. I love that he can make them go just by pushing on the top, and that they're not noisy. They go just fast enough and batteries have lasted a good long while so far. He recently tied a string to both these trains for the kitten to chase. So much fun. I've had minor quality issues with other Chuggington toys, but these seem to be good.
