Replaced SRAM X.7 and works great
I used this X.5 to replace a X.7 (failed during a chain break) on an old Trek mountain bike. It shifts very quietly and smoothly now. I couldn't find the X.7 anymore, so I took a chance and was not disappointed. I also replaced the shifter cable at the same time since the old one was stretched and fraying at the end. I used a universal one also found on amazon.

Low quality meterial used for this Derailleur for its expensive price.. the metal is so Brittle that is easily get break. I just tightening the V screw then the metal hole serving as a thread for V screw easily cRacked. Get Broken in my first attempt to install it. Buy other Cheaper brand Better than this
