I bought this to help with my state board exam that was very heavy on teaching literacy to exceptional learners. The book helped tied the gaps between literacy and special education instruction. It provided multifarious strategies to help struggling readers and research-based instructional literacy practices. Also, my exam score went up significantly after reading this book. Wonderful tool and resource for any educator to have in their library.

This was a required book for a graduate class and it is a fantastic resource. I learned so much about teaching reading skills. This book will teach you about the research-based methods for teaching early literacy.
