My spouse and I sell at art at conventions and craft fairs several times a year and I use these little doohickies several different ways. I draw throughout the hours/days I'm selling and I'll prop whatever I've completed up in one of these for people to see. We use it for pricing signs, and for little blurbs about the books and comics my spouse sells. Smaller books can be propped open with two of these, one along the bottom of each side of the spine.I think the only downside is that they aren't weighted, which makes it easier for them to fall over or blow over. They are super cheap, though, and I"m sure I can think of a way to weight them down, as they are hollow cups underneath. Just got to be "unlazy" and do it.

They work . The coil will break right off if you’re not gentle

I bought these card holders to use at work. I order a lot of meals and needed a sturdier holder to hold the menu card. The ring is a nicer touch compared to the holders that look like a greek god's spear. The base is nice and shiny but not solid - it's hollow underneath. The maximize size of the card shouldn't be bigger than 4x6 inches otherwise it would fall over. I plan on painting the base a gloss black so they don't look so glaring on the table. They suit my purpose and were purchased at a very reasonable price.

I am using these for table numbers in my classroom. They work great for smaller sized papers.
