My stereo is from the 70s. YES, I said Stereo. It may not be modern tech, but its still there and IT STILL WORKS! THESE OLD SPEAKERS CAN STILL SHAKE THE HOUSE IF I WANT! .... Most of the time, I don't, though; I just want intimate stuff for my own enjoyment. The problem was that the FEMALE input jack on the stereo - which led through some ABUSED wires and at least one SIZE ADAPTER - to my modern headphones was for a HUUUUUGE, OLD, MALE plug (ie: modern input plugs are much smaller). It was SO BAD that I had to resort to LICKING THE CONTACTS and WIGGLING THE PLUG AROUND so much that I FELT LIKE I WAS TRYING TO SATISFY A VERY FUSSY LOVER to get sound in both ears. THIS WONDERFUL DEVICE FIXED IT ALL! 70's stereo + gold-plated quality device with modern adapter = SATISFACTION for all parties involved. Apologies if this sounded more sexual than I originally intended, but hey...somebody may find it funny & include it in a "funny feedback" youtube vid. SO THERE! I'M HAPPY! NUFF SAID! It was extremely easy to use and the sound quality from my amp to my headphones is really good. It's a good price for what I ordered (I got the 3 ft one) and never fails to do what it was made for practically. This made it so I can play quietly and not distract anyone else. :)

This adapter cable is much better than a small, rigid plug adapter. The 4-foot cord gives you the flexibility and distance needed to comfortably use 3.5mm headphones with 1/4" studio gear (like mixers or audio interfaces).

I use this to connect my HyperX Cloud II gaming headset to my PreSonus audio interface. Been using this adaptor every day for 6 plus months without a single issue. Sound quality is excellent! This adaptor cable feels very high quality and has proven itself to be just as durable. Can't go wrong here. Well worth the price.

I really had doubts about these adapters, because they need to make a perfect contact with the mini jack. I had two adapters that changed the sound a little bit, it was very annoying especially when using the Audio Interface. So I wondered if it was the case to try again with another adapter or buy new headphones with a big jack. In the end I bought both, the new headphones and this Solmimi adapter. I can confirm that this adapter really works, it doesn't change the sound whatsoever.
