I never buy myself good quality things. I figured a brush is a brush, a comb is a comb but this comb (for folks with long hair) simply makes my hair better----I was naive using an black comb (typical small one) or a brush but this really gets the hair untangled, easy to clean and works with wet or dry hair. What's not to like. I like the tortoise shell, can leave it out on my bathroom counter or in my "things" cup in my bathroom and it' looks ok.

We were looking for a nice-quality wet hair comb and this seems to be it. It’s a bit more expensive than other options but there are no sharp spots and it looks and works great.

The teeth of this comb are shorter than what I wanted. But the quality is good.

I've been reading and hearing all this and that about combs made from plastic molds. 2 pieces, put together leaving a razor sharp seam right down the middle and in between every comb tooth which shreds your wet hair when combing it out. I thought, NEA...so I looked really good at my comb (that I've had since the earth was warm) and sure enough I can clearly see where the mold comes together leaving a line that sticks out and acts like a sharp razor. It had a collection of me on it (oils, lint, etc.). I'm glad to know this though!So...I bought this bad boy from England and it arrived within two weeks. I wasn't sure how this was going to work out, as the comb teeth are staggered (I've included 2 pics to view close up) and I figured it would be more of a hair ripper. However, I was surprised that it combed very well and actually sort of dug deep into the hair and it felt nice on my scalp as well, but the biggest part is that I could TELL the difference. In the way you comb your hair from the bottom to untangle first and then start back at the scalp combing down, it was a smoother ride. Try your old trusty and then switch to this one and you can feel it.ANYWAYS...I'm happier with this comb, I do wish that it were a bit bigger but not complaining. Its clearly quality and I would recommend anyone to purchase it. Long term & Long hair investment!

Great at detangling, but small and a little rough (plastic is too sharp). I wouldn't buy it again, but it is good enough for now.

Great for combing detangling a thick beard

I love that Kent combs are handmade and saw cut, so there are no ragged edges between the teeth that tear hair. (Plastic combs are typically pressed together, which leaves a jagged, rough edge between the teeth.) I've looked at this comb for a long time, and finally decided to buy it. I LOVE this comb! I bought it for detangling purposes, but I found another useful feature for me - spreading out mousse in my hair! My hair is long and fine, so I use mousse at the roots of my hair. This comb does an awesome job of distributing the mousse evenly. It allows just the right amount to penetrate into my hair, and the excess collects at the base of the teeth, and then I can redistribute the excess elsewhere. I wish I hadn't waited so long to buy this!
