Arcadia 584504 Pro T5 UVB Kit 24W Desert with D3+ 12% Reptile Tube, Approx. 57.5 x 6 x 4.5 cm

My roommates beardie has done a complete 180 since we hung this in his enclosure! We thought he was sick, he just needed a high quality lamp and light! Our light arrived in good condition and worked upon using!!

I went searching for this lamp from everywhere but everywhere was unfortunately sold out when I found it was sold at PetSmart. I found it here and thankfully it wasn't much more than what it was in the store. My Bearded Dragon is now happy with a slimmer, smoother light! 😁

I’m giving 5 stars cause the product itself was in perfect condition and I had no issues with it. But I have to say it’s pretty messed up that being these bulbs have been hard to find that these prices are so incredibly inflated now. It’s shameful.

This came nicely packaged, I bought it in September of 2023. Arcadia states a 12 month usage of the bulb, however it has been five months, my girl (breaded dragon) has been acting off, not eating, had to take her to the exotic vet and spent nearly $300 on that, all to finally boil her behavior, lack of eating, and such to the UVB not emitting the UVB spectrum rays as we thought it was doing. Maybe the delivery driver didnt handle our package as I've seen them throw other packages on our porch like no big deal. I know for a fact this bulb worked perfect from the go, but I truly believe with the way the bulb is starting to turn black on the coiled ends, it is not doing its job for our girl like I thought. I went out on a whim last night and bought her a replacement at our local petstore. I am hoping to see her back and lively again soon, fingers crossed. I feel horrible and felt like I've neglected her but i also presumed the original bought bulb would last. I dont have any other ideas for the problem, her labs and everything else came back negative, except her protein levels of which we feel were high and I believe now this was all due to not being able to digest the protein (dubia raoches) properly due to the lack of UVB working in this bulb. I'll be buying bulbs from our local pet store or a reputable reptile store online moving forward.

I wish I had purchased this sooner. Within weeks my beardie went into a full shed which he hasn't done in two years. He sits under this light all the time.

The kit arrived on the seventh - assembled on the eighth. It was treated like a precious gem and given - quite literally - the white glove treatment. Imagine my irritation at finding it to be as useless as a fork in a soup-eating contest on the fifth morning. Four days. The bloody thing worked for four days and gave up the ghost. I don’t know if it’s a ‘Quality Assurance’ issue or a shipment packing issue, but I purchased this extremely light (now) paperweight for the frankly ridiculous Amazon price because my local pet store never carries these and I needed one rather quickly. So, I now have to troubleshoot the bloody thing because it is a extraordinarily important facet of my pet’s life. I am a contractor and my time is quite literally my money. You should be ashamed of this one, Arcadia. I don’t expected it to be hardy, but I do expect a stationary fixture and bulb to be able to work for more than four days without me having to pour time and energy into getting it to perform it’s only function.

Absolutely love it. My bearded dragon changed her whole personality with the correct UBV. Would recommend to anyone with a reptile, amphibian or bird that has UBV needs.

Got this because I had not done so previously and it IS a requirement for Reptiles, this one in particular for Desert Dwellers. My tortoise had been a bit ill beforehand, I thought it was an eye infection, but as soon as I put this light up and turned it on he opened his eyes and was more normal. Now a few weeks later he is acting completely normal and seems to have gotten 100% better. Great product, the only thing I could say negative about it is that the cover for the light is a little flimsy - although if you're generally careful with it it should be completely fine.
