Ornamental Design: An Image Archive and Drawing Reference Book for Artists, Designers and Craftsmen

Beautiful well made book with tons of varied images related to the subject. It has been immensely helpful in my art career. I highly recommend downloading the files too because the detail is a little small in the print edition but you can zoom in and print what you need. Will definitely be buying more additions! And I love their Instagram, always posting new fun images!

This is such a great resource for me as an artist, plus I love having the physical book but the digital assets they provide with purchase are also super helpful. Definitely recommend.

Juste-Aurele Meissonnier, 1695-1750, was a designer for Louis XV's and this book has a lot of his designs. The engravings are from the mid-1700's and unfortunately do not have attributions... A great companion to Fantastic Ornament by Dover (Don't get Fantastic Ornament 2 that is only printed on one side with lackluster examples)
