No instructions with the kit. I have been working on bikes for 3 years and did not need instructions.Rear hose is a bit too short for installation on the right hand of handlebar. In England Rear is on the left, so the hose does not need to be very long. I US, the Rear hose is a bit too short on the right side on handlebar. My original hose was longer. 2016 Giant Stance SL MTB.I have installed the front brake and fine.Thinking of using the original hose and just replace the old caliper and the old lever. Old hose is longer. I may need to bleed the rear hose if air gets in. Small price to pay.SMALL HEX SCREW UNDER THE LEVER, WILL PUSH THE LEVER PLUNGER IN MORE. THIS WILL REDUCE THE LEVER TRAVEL. IF YOU LIKE.I like them very much so far.

So far I've only went out for a few trips and i have to pump the brakes cause i didn't bleed them due to the fact i was hoping i wouldn't have to but other than that i love them. They do squeak like someone else said in their review but not a big issue for me. Hopefully they'll last a lot longer than my stock brakes.

Brake lines a short, if you are putting them on large 29er. Unable to run the line through my frame because the low quality line fittings were torqued too tight at the factory and the heads were stripped out. I could have installed longer lines if doing without destroying the brakes. Still not a bad buy for smaller bikes. I'll buy a better grade later. You get what you pay for. Didn't bother with the seller since I'm sure they wouldn't have replaced them.

Waste of money. The rear brake line was about 5 inches too short to work on a medium specialized MTB frame. The front had plenty of hose.

Please be aware its rear brake on the left side, front brake on the right side of the handle bar., which is different from the typical setting. You can switch the side, but you have to re-bleeding.

I bought a ancheer ebike and that thing is heavy, normal cable brakes it can't with barely worked.These will actually lock the wheel if needed.They need to be bled as it brakes better when I pump it but otherwise awesome brakes.

As soon as I switch from my mechanical disc brakes to these hydraulics I automatically felt the stopping grip, unfortunately I do not know how to tighten them but they do work better although mine definitely needs to be tighter

Front handle was spongey from day 1 installation but wasnt so bad they didn't work. Riding at 30 mph pulled the front brake lever to ease on brake to slow down and the adjustment for the pull of the lever snapped and completely lost use of the brakes and almost got ran over in intersection won't buy again go for quality skip these
