my housecleaners accidentally cleaned the foam strips off my glass cabinet doors and then lost one of the cover plates. I couldn't find them at hardware stores, didn't know what to call them, and was thrilled to find them here. They fit perfectly and were easy to install, less than ten minutes only because I was being super careful to do correctly. You do not need to have a magnetic plate for them to adhere to in order to be useful. My doors have two sets, one at the top and one at the bottom, of a waist high built-in display cabinet for vases. the magnetic plates are only on the bottom to hold the doors closed but I use the top ones to push in and open/close the doors. Hope that makes sense.

I bought two of these to put on 1/4 inch glass for a custom glass double-door install in an existing cabinet. They work well, exactly as expected.

Metal clip fit perfectly and worked as expected.
