It’s not as large or substantial as I expected, but works like a charm. Doesn’t pull my hair out. I have waist length 2b/c hair.

My detangling comb broke after at least a decade’s worth of use. In a panic I bought this comb just to have something until I could get to the store to feel the quality of a “better” comb… turns out I did not need to go to the store for anything better because this works great! It detangles my thick, long, wavy hair with very little effort! I am actually happily surprised that something so inexpensive works so well and is so durable! I highly recommend this comb for everyday use.
