For smaller bird eggs, could use for game hen eggs because there smaller. Worked great monitored daily.Used on low end of recommended temperature to not chance eggs getting too hot!,that's not what you want! I've done this before with the larger Styrofoam those work great also but this was better And easy especially for small groups of eggs. Take the rotation rack out about when chick's start to hatch for safety for them. Have a warm broader made to keep in after incubation is complete. Use caution with the Styrofoam case it's very useful but have to learn regulations temp depend on not keeping it totally closed leave a gape. And keep an eye on it I used the bottom part always and the top on and off for temp control.

Every single one of my eggs died. I had the temp set right and I made sure the humidity was at the proper level.The problem is, even in the summer when it’s hot out, the eggs don’t remain at the proper temp. The eggs closer to the heating element get hot, but the eggs further away get cold. The temp doesn’t stay consistent inside the incubator. That’s why my eggs died.It also has a hard time turning the eggs. If you do happen to buy it and give it a try, definitely mark your eggs with an X and an O so you can make sure they are being turned properly.The humidity also exits from the hole in the top, so you have to make sure you are keeping it filled up with water.

The media could not be loaded. This was my first experience hatching/incubating eggs, and I think having 3 out of 6 eggs hatch is pretty good! I didn't expect to have any success but so far so good.It's very small and can't be used for duck eggs, and I had to use my "smaller" chicken eggs.I just wish there had been more user instructions. Also, I left the Styrofoam lid on basically the whole time too.

I got this to finish incubation of a few eggs my hen left in nest when she got up. It worked well for the few days I need to finish incubating those eggs. I haven’t used it to go 21 for full incubation. It’s light weight and kinda chinsy. I had a very had time figuring out how to run it with the limited directions. It’s only Celsius and there isn’t a humidity reader. But with that said, I wasn’t looking for a pricy incubator and this worked in a pinch.

We're into week 3 of the incubation period, looks like all 6 eggs are fertile. Can't wait for them to hatch! Then going to start another batch of chickies.....

After my first season using this the fan stopped working. Pay a little more and get a better unit.

This product does work. But I'm only hatching was 3 but now 2 chicks so if you want the chicks to have room once out of the egg I suggest not putting all 6 in this.
