Great for filling, despensings, and cleaning!
Packaging: Product arrives in a sturdy cardboard Kegco box. Complete with instructions. Constructions: We make Kombucha so the stainless steel design is very important. We are also using these valves in our keg washer which has some very harsh chemicals that run through it. Stainless steel is great because it will not corrode in either of these environments. Use: We have used these valves to fill kegs, clean kegs, and dispense and they work great in all of those uses. As a previous home brewer I was always fond of pin lock kegs but after using this valve I realize that sanke kegs have a number of benefits. Which include the backflow preventer valves that are included on the in and out side of this valve. I have purchased 3 of these valves and I will likely be buying more in the future. Great product and well worth the $5-10 more than the cheap alternatives!

It's a fabulous upgrade from OEM.
Addressing the few less than 5-star reviews... 1. You don't pull the handle out. You pivot or angle it up when tapping or untapping. It's a bit different than your standard Sankey. Think easier and better. 2. It doesn't come with a new beer line fitting. That's okay. On my stock Danby kegerator, I would have had to cut off the beer line fitting to replace it, so I was totally fine with this. In my case, the beer line fitting was secured on the tubing with a crimp ring. At worst, you may need the addition of a gasket inside the fitting, as the check valve design was slightly different (superior) than the tap I replaced. 3. It didn't "snap" into place for me on a new (commercial) keg. I looked at the coupling angle and this still seemed okay to me. It had a much steeper angle than the coupler I was replacing it with. Twist it on as tight as you can by hand (maybe with a bit of keg lube) and you will be fine before you "tap". 4. No gas leaks. It's been a couple of weeks. 5. Per design, it breaks down very easily for cleaning. 6. If you're on the fence, buy this. You can't go wrong with stainless steel, and again, it is a substantial upgrade over your stock coupler.

Works perfectly
I love the fact that you don't have to pull on it to attach. You just screw it onto the keg and push down and that's it. No pulling. Fits 1/2 barrel with no issues.

so far so good!
Had a Micro Matic that was leaking C02 intermittently, which, to any kegerator owner, is a big problem. Changed out a gasket, and still leaked more than I was happy with. Researched the reviews on this one, and tried it. Hooked a couple of days ago, and after monitoring closely, had no leaks! I like the updated coupling handle release. Easier and quicker than the handle that you have to pull out in order to uncouple from the keg. And stainless steel body, and reasonable price. Would recommend.

No more leaks! Yay!
Just installed this. Replaced a coupler from a Kegworks kegerator kit and shopped their premium coupler, but preferred the reviews on this one. It's only been fifteen minutes, but my leak test was clean and I couldn't be happier! I built my garage refrigerator kegerator last April and have been through five or six 5lb CO2 tanks due to random leaks from the cheap coupler. At first I attributed it to user error, but finally realized that I had a deficient system. Everything would be fine for weeks and then I'd come home one afternoon with an empty gas tank. The stainless steel tap arm on this one is solid - no "jiggling" required. The seals are excellent and I coupled this product with some keg lube to keep them that way. Excellent design for the air hose - a great improvement over my last product. The ball float mechanism seems much more solid as well. Will update if I encounter problems, but I don't expect to... I believe this one is worth the money!

Quality replacement
Has functioned perfectly keg after keg. Would be five stars but the materials just feel lower quality than my original.

work great, best price for all stainless sanke d couplers
These work exactly as expected and are the best price for all stainless sanke d couplers. I have two of them now, and plan on getting another two eventually. The threads all are cut well and work with standard fittings. The check valves are easy enough to remove if needed and all parts are simple to service. I modified mine for use with ball lock connectors on one (this lets me hook up my keg direct sampling faucet on a ball lock disccont), and with John Guest push to connect fittings on the other, and they both work flawlessly so far.

Works for 1/6 barrel kegs
The reason I purchased this item was because my other tap's handle would get blocked by the walls of the keg if I used it on anything smaller than a 1/4 barrel. Since I tend to order a lot of craft beer, it was becoming a problem. Easy to use, easy to install, definitely worth the money
