Teknor Apex 8602-75 NeverKink RV/Marine Hose - 5/8" x 75',White

I recently moved my RV onto private property. Since the water faucet was almost a hundred feet away, I bought two of these hoses. I hooked up the first hose to the followed the directions for eliminating kinks from packaging and expelling trapped air. The hose was leaking from the faucet end of the hose, but not at the faucet, it was leaking along the hose from inside the fitting. I decided to swap the hose with the other hose. I followed the same procedure with the second hose and it was fine, no leaks. I connected the first hose to the end of the second hose to see if it would make a better connection. Nope. Leaked like a sieve. So, back to Amazon it went for a replacement. Today I received the replacement hose. The replacement hose has the same exact problem. I even swapped gaskets between the hoses to see if that was the problem. Nope. Still leaked. This time Amazon isn't offering a replacement, they are refunding my money and I will have to try my luck with another retailer. Looks like Camping World actually has a cheaper price on the hose, so we'll see if they have a better batch.

Had I known the the inlet fitting was plastic I would not have purchased this hose. The outlet side is metal not sure why they bother though. Currently it doesn't leak and the hose has never kinked on me yet so that's good, still only getting 1 star from me though.It would be decent product if both fittings were metal but I can not recommend any hose with plastic fittings.

I tried several hoses that claimed they "do not kink under pressure". All of them kinked easily with and without pressure. I have a contractor-grade NeverKink that is outstanding but i needed a smaller lighter hose for marine use.I bought this to cut into 3 shorter hoses for marine use. The hose itself is pretty good and much better than other hoses in the same price range. The male connector is stamped metal and is super junky. I could squeeze it out of shape with my bare hands. The female end is plastic but nice to grip.I kept the female end and cut it down to 15 ft for use with a spigot that has a plastic male outlet. That combination works well and i am not worried that the hose is going to mar the male spigot.I say the hose is only pretty good because the hose has memory. It shipped coiled and where the male end wrapped into the coil it left a seemingly permanent kink-dent in the hose about 2ft from the male end. Luckily it was near the end and so i cut it off and discarded it, leaving 8ft.I cut the remaining 8 ft into 2x 4ft sections and replaced the ends with ends bought on amazon. they work really well and do not leak.All in all im quite happy with the purchase, but you may not be without some hose surgery.

Less than 6 months old and it's already got a bubble in the outer cover... I don't expect it to last much longer now. Very disappointed. Tried to view warranty on the site but link is broken... I would not recommend this to anyone using it in a marine environment.

I replaced my Neverkink PRO hose with this one. The PRO version always spewed white cloudy water and killed my grass. Water from this hose and super clean, and is much more heavy duty than other marine hoses I’ve owned in the past. I only wish it came in a 100’ length.

Drinking water safe and kinks less than most other hoses. The white color reflects sunlight and keeps the hose cooler. I used this at my dock slip in Florida and it lasted 5 years before the hose covering began to break down from the sun and start to tear. That's a long time for constant exposure to Florida sun! The hose never leaked.

I bought two of these hoses - a fifty-foot, and, a seventy-five foot. Over the years,I have bought NUMEROUS "supposed" no-kink hoses, which ultimately failed to be kink-free, or, failed in some other structural manner. I figured that I would finally try Teknor NeverKink Marine Hoses since they weigh about half of what other compatible hoses weigh. I'm very happy that I did. This is the first time EVER that I haven't had to move a garden hose around the yard in a manner simulating a wrestling match with a Polar Bear!. This is the first time EVER that I haven't had to stop every 3 - 5 seconds and untangle a kink! Finally - FINALLY - Praise GOD ALMIGHTY from Whom all blessings (including water through kink-free, and, light-weight hoses) flow!!!

This is a great hose! I use this hose to conduct water changes on my 200g saltwater reef aquarium. Since the hose meets potable water standards, it met my needs for transporting freshly made saltwater. I did replace the metal ends with plastic though. This hose is very easy for me to drain and then to coil back neatly in my garage with my water making station. I've been using this hose for over 2yrs and have had no problems with it. I highly recommend it!
