Very Accurate
To save space in the box, the manufacturer placed the 9V battery inside the meter - but the battery was stuffed in carelessly and at an angle, breaking the two molded plastic tabs that hold the battery in position. Also, the metal strip connector between the two AA batteries was installed upside down (which was easy to remedy). Other than that, the meter appears well made - the vinyl front panel label fits well and is very flat and secure, unlike "Samwa" or other imitators that have bubbly and crooked dial plates. The rotary selector switch has snappy detents and a confident action. The switch knob has a short groove at the indicator end, which I filled with some liquid "white out" to make it more visible. The resistors have actual formed leads and are largely centered between their respective mounting holes (proper practice which I commend to "Samwa", "Der EE", & "WEN GE") on the glass epoxy PCB. In the X1 range, the LED is bright and the buzzer audible without being annoying. The "mirror" of the scale is very clear and reflective mylar, unlike others that are just an unpainted arc of the aluminum scale plate. I found the accuracy of the DCV ranges well within 1% on my meter. Works great, hope Mastech would offer the Sunwa YX-360TRE-A-H on Amazon soon.

Functional for a low price.
It's functional but rather cheaply built.

NOT very Accurate...
The BEST thing that can be said about the Mastech Sunwa YX-360TRe analog multitester is that it was purchase from Amazon. No hassles with returns or exchanges and it arrived intact as expected! As some have stated the meter’s a knock off of a Sanwa (made in Japan) meter. Whereas this unit’s manufactured in China. Country of origin really isn’t of concern as long as the meter works “with high Accuracy” (which it doesn’t).I bought this meter for my grandson to use on a science project. Also, to teach him points of electrical interest (such as: how to read a multimeter, differences between voltage and continuity testing,…). At the same time that I bought a digital meter. BOY, was I glad I did! The first thing I was able to show him was the inaccuracy between the two meters. Testing a AA, 1.5V, battery the digital meter indicated: 1.65V; while the analog meter displayed: 1.9V. That’s about a 20% difference! So, if you’re buying the meter for accuracy… DON’T!Since we’re not using the meter to check voltage accurately as much as to check voltage presence this meter works well (we’re looking for any needle deflection). As does the continuity feature with LED and buzzer.Zeroing the meter’s a chore! The pot.’s very touchy when you get in range of zero.Lastly, the unit we received doesn’t have the back-stand (depicted in Amazon’s display). Without the stand this meter is hard to position to read easily.

I just got the use the meter today, and it worked fine, and seems very acurate checking ac and dc voltages. Nice meter.

Good meter for the money
Good meter for the money. I like that it is a little on the large size because it is easier to read and to find.
