It's not small - they are supposed to be tight!!
Thank you everyone here who is complaining about the medium size being too small. Having had a few of these over the years, I can tell you they are SUPPOSED to be small. It's a binder, it's supposed to be tight. I'm a size 36 and just got the medium at a rediculously low price I might add (prob due to the negatives) and it fits perfectly. Yes, it's about 10 inches too small UNTIL YOU STRETCH IT OUT. As I say, it's supposed to be tight. Over time they tend to stretch out and lose their elasticity over a couple years, and it's never as tight as the very first day you wear it, but as a binder and at this price IT IS VERY GOOD DEAL.

Uncomfortable, but adequate
It is really short versus the ones you get in the hospital, barely covers my 4 inch incision adequately. Says it is 11,1 inches wide, seriously doubt that but I haven't measured it. The plush lining is only on the front where the Velcro is, the back and sides are scratchy and uncomfortable. I bought this because my doctor wanted me to wear the binder "all the time" for the first 2 weeks and I needed to wash the one from the hospital. On the plus side the strength of the compression is good and will help with incisional pain. Would recommend this as something to use when you are washing your hospital binder, but plan to wear a shirt or something under it and stay home all day (which you were probably doing already).

Excellent for post abdominal surgery
I used this after major abdominal surgery. I had a 12 inch scar across my abdomen that hurt like He**. It was hard for me to get out of bed but of course the nurses in the hospital forced me to get out of bed the day after my surgery. This Binder helped me get out of bed and I used it for the first 3 weeks or so. Each time I wanted to get out of bed I put it on before trying to get up and this reduced the pain 100 fold. It was still painful but without using the binder getting out of bed was unbearable. I highly recommend this product for post abdominal surgery support. It also helped when being active such as walking helping me be active very soon after my surgery. The sizing was as marked so it fit perfectly. I purchased a medium and weigh 160 pounds and wear a women's size 12/14. The fabric was soft and not itchy which was a concern of mine prior to trying it on. I did purchase more than one but the wide width of this one made it very good for a long diagonal incision.

I just had a tummy tuck and the doctor liked this band
I just had a tummy tuck and the doctor liked this band. I am only 5 feet tall so I have a pretty small torso. I weigh about 160lbs and the large fit just right length wise. As far as height goes, I wish I could shorten the band by about an inch. But overall this is a good product. I bought two because the reviews said they stretch out easily. My first band stretched after wearing it 24hrs for two weeks. But I found that even though it stretched out the elastic made it easy to get that snug fit.My second band is holding up much better and I have been wearing that one for 24 hours for a week now. I'd buy this product again.

In a Bind
I have an abdominal hernia and this elastic wrap was purchased to help keep the inside stuff inside. Previous experience with other elastic bands was good but I couldn't recall what brand they were; I wanted a new one for use when going to see doctors, etc., and this one was the largest I could find. Unfortunately, this band is just a bit too small for extended use and I should have just sent it back but I talked myself into keeping it because while it is very difficult to close, I still don't have any alternatives. It is a decent enough elastic band, it's just not as big as it needs to be. Maybe if I was as slim as the guy in the photo is it would work better; also, it's not very large in coverage area either, especially compared to the others that I have.

holding my belly in
I have been using the same product fro several years now I have three of them however I must change the size on my sewing machine as the belt does not hold the full width after continuous use and reduce the size of the Velcro side

Factory Second?
If product was made correctly I would be fine. The one I received was defective. The two end pieces did not match up right. In the picture on the box both sides are even and lay nice and flat. This one was to short on one end and so the Velcro scratched your skin raw. It also bulged and bunched up. clearly it was defective from the factory although it was not sold as such. I missed the return date as I just got it out to use today so Im stuck with it. Very disappointed.

Way too small!
I ordered the Medium which says it fits 32 to 42 inches. The binder is barely 32 inches long and you need some overlap to attach it, so it really fits 30 inches and less! It looks well made, just way too small. I ordered a different binder and it allows for 12 inches or so of overlap which is a much better design.
