Why does it smell like maple syrup??
I’ve only been using this product for a few days, but the first time I opened it I was overwhelmed by how strong the smell was and I still smell it every day when I put this on. I feel like I smell like maple syrup. Is this normal or did I get a bad batch?

Bought this product for a patch of melasma on my forehead. Fades appearance of uneven skin tone without drying. Good product for the price. Works well.

Good vitamin C serum
The smell really put me off of this when I first started using it, but as I continued to use it (& ask online about the smell - it turns out that that is pretty normal), I started to really like it. It is lightweight & easy to use.

I like it but MAKES ME LOOK TAN
I love how it feels on me. I don’t notice a smell so that’s good. Ever since I started using it people keep telling me I LOOK TAN! Apparently this is what chat got said “ Vitamin C serum might make some individuals appear tanner due to its effect on the skin’s natural melanin production. Vitamin C is an antioxidant that helps in the skin’s natural regeneration process and in repairing damaged skin cells. While it doesn’t directly cause the skin to tan, its role in promoting skin health could enhance your skin’s natural tone, making it appear more vibrant and possibly giving the impression of a slight tan.Another possible reason could be the serum’s role in enhancing skin brightness and reducing the appearance of dark spots. Do not order during hot summer!
I’ve bought this many times at a local store, but lately it is sold out, so I ordered this from Amazon.It’s a great product and deserves 5 stars, but I gave 3 stars. It is a clear gel, but due to the hot summer weather, the content had turned amber in color.I’ll resume subscription when the weather cools down.It works really well on a itchy skin too!
